I totally agree. Dave is totally smoking hot with his leather and hair and clothes and EVERYTHING, and I totally empathized with how much he had on his plate with four kids to care for, all while dealing with money problems and whatever. And it COULD have been really powerful, I think it just focused on the post-death relationship in a really weird way
