I know I make a lot of jokes about how Zelda saw Link take down and Yiga and thought “Oh no he’s hoooot” but lemme get real. That face she pulls is a reflection on Link, it’s her learning new information and rapidly trying to re-figure her world view (which we know takes time because writes in her diary that she still can’t get over it) 

It’s a look of “what the fuck have I done?” it’s a look of someone who’s realized that despite taking her anger and frustration out at him, despite telling him not to follow her, despite assuming the worst of him, he’s still there exactly when she needs him. 

And it’s after this moment, this face, this realization, that she begins to shift her attitude towards him and their relationship begins to grow.
