I find it so funny thst both Ace and Sebek's favourite subject is Enigmics. Aka Maths.

Oh yeaahhhh I think Sebek liking math is believable, Sebek will totally nail being in math quiz bee competition or something.

but Ace?? When I first learned about it... I'm like wow, Ace likes Math? Ace likes algebra?? Ace likes to answer functions and logarithms and trigometry, the fu*k?? Ace is probably the type of person to enjoy math but sometimes fail at certain questions. (Like me lol) but anyway;

I really think Ace is a smart person but chose the streets instead. I really think he's the type to pass an exam without studying and I'm like why the heck do you need a study guide in book 3 for?

Extra math classes are probably the shared elective class Ace and Sebek have together and those two will definitely bond over the wonders of math. Sebek will probably choose to follow the traditional way or the book way to solve numbers and Ace uses the ones from youtube, you know how to shortcut solving math.

long car rides with the baby. they go in the car and mike brings many snacks and a sippycup in the door cuphoder and toys to keep davy happy. they have to stop at rest places for bathroom breaks and after he uses the potty davy wants mcdonalds at every time they stop. and itis the 60s so there are no seatbelts! davy is held back by peter or he’ll go and bother mike who is driving!

Real! Often times it’s to get to gigs or whatever but Davy also just really loves car rides so sometimes to treat him Mike will pack them up and drive around for a few hours.

They have a bag prepped by the door in case they have to go somewhere in a hurry that has books and toys and whatnot pre-packed. The monkeemobile has an emergency first aid kit in it at all times because… well, they’re the monkees.

The guys take turns entertaining Davy because if Davy gets bored it’s over for everyone. Micky and Mike will change shifts driving (only if it’s a really long trip and mike physically can’t drive any longer). Micky usually takes the first Davy shift and he’s good at playing with Davy to get him just worn out enough that he’ll be able to sit relatively still. Once they start getting out of the city, Mike needs Micky focusing on giving directions so it’s Peters shift! He’ll read with Davy and cuddle with him and sing kid songs like the wheels on the Pontiac gto. They also play a lot of eye spy.

It’s rare Mike gives Micky driving duty and when he does its because he can’t keep his eyes open. Davy will be very mindful of this and let mike lay his head in his lap. He tries to do what mike would do and pets his hair and pats his head. There’s been a few times where Mikes woken with one of Davy’s pacis in his mouth or cuddling Davy’s bear because that’s what he does for Davy so that’s what Davy knows how to do. (This melts his heart a little)

But Micky and Peters main job is to keep Davy content enough that he doesn’t need mike. Of course he keeps telling Mike to look at that building or those cows or whatnot but they do not need Davy trying to climb up front. (Especially since a cop pulled them over one time because there’s apparently a height limit on sitting up front with no car seat. Davy does not like to talk about this.) If he’s good he’s allowed to sit up front with Mike for a little while but that’s usually when he’s more sleepy and wont try to cover mikes eyes or something.

Davy definitely is the type to hit them with the “are we there yet?” Every two seconds. In his defence, England is a lot smaller than America and a long trip to him is two hours, while a long trip to the guys is like seven hours (I’m not American I am just guessing that number). Davy demands they stop to eat and the guys pull in to a classic American diner and Davy is disgusted (pulling this from real life because it’s funny).

finished watching and i'm so giggly and squishy

i'm very happy and relieved with how it turned out. as is usual with slow burns, the wait was worth it. it was extremely worth it. i was on the edge of my chair, waiting for miyano to confess, and it was like a breath of fresh air once he did.

i liked that more than i thought i would, i think. it's going on my personal favorites list. it was refreshing, since i hadn't seen a BL in a while. i greatly appreciate the many different perspectives on same-sex relationships, and how they all ultimately come together to support the main couple.

i think miyano is such a relatable character, in regards to figuring out his feelings. "do i like him the same way he likes me?" or "what does it mean to like someone?" or "i appreciate the way he takes interest in something i like." he goes on this whole mental journey of trying to figure out what his feelings mean, and if he shares the same feelings sasaki does. and he takes such care thinking this over because he cares about him so much and doesn't want to hurt him.

i am curious what the ginger/white cat represents, though.

this anime is such a wholesome feel-good. i'm relieved there weren't any significant argument arcs, which would've slightly ruined it for me. it's nice and sweet.

hanzawa is still my favorite character, i wish we could've gotten a teeny bit more screen time with him, but i'm satisfied with what we got. i thought he was struggling with internalized homophobia, but it turns out he's just worried about the people he cares about, and doesn't want them to get hurt because of society's view of a same-sex relationship. his voice is soothing, too i guess it's expected, since uchida yuuma voices him. my favorite scene with him is the scene in the classroom, though. where he goes on this little tangent on what it means to like someone, and the different things someone does for the person they like. he's very insightful and i love him.

Bbh wasn’t even originally trying to prank anyone he just made the prime path better. Why should someone who never goes on the damn server the final say on a how it looks?

yeah this crit confuses me the most because every member of the server is equally entitled to both blowing up and remaking the prime path imo. bad remaking the path to look prettier and getting mad when its griefed makes sense in character. tommy disliking change being done to his environment makes sense in character too.

honestly some of this crit is just cc!bad crit lmao and sure, criticize who you want, but at least be upfront about it

tobi - he’s sooo fun i love him he beats people up bc he’s got a very strong harsh sense of justice he doesn’t care if you’ve been friends for years if he catches u doing some shit he’ll beat ur ass he’s also very skinny and not all that strong (it’s totally not bc all he eats is bread and coffee) so sometimes HE gets HIS ass kicked but he doesn’t let that break his spirt it just gives him spite to beat those people later and earns him friends when he defends people also he had a little brother whose dead and he blames his parents and in a story that i’m not sure if it’s canon or not he kills them but anyways he’s got curly brown hair freckles and is always covered in scraps bandages bruises and sometimes blood oh and he’s has MAJOR eye bags he’s very sleeby bc he spends all his energy on decking people also he’s like soft boy aesthetic like sweaters over button ups converse etc etc but his clothes are always bloody/dirty/ripped bc he fights sm

mischa - ok so she’s like super intimidating like she’s pretty she’s smart she’s athletic etc etc she scares people bc she hangs out with tobi and once people see her muscles they run. but dw she’s the sweetest person u will ever meet like ahh she wouldn’t hurt a fly. she’s got like a really big caring family who helps out a lot and she says stuff like “i know a guy“ and the guy is like her uncle ben who plays the guitar and so people thinks she’s got like mafia connections but she doesn’t she swears (she actually doesn’t) but anyways shes black and her hair is short and curly and the pieces that frame her face are dyed light and she wears jeans and a white shirt and a leather jacket and has dog tags the people assume are like her dead older brother or something but they’re actually her dead dogs actual dog tags and yeah i love her

hi!!! sorry that i’ve been kind of mia for the past few days. i was studying for my midterm that i had yesterday! it went really well! so now i’ll try and post more frequently! while i was cleaning my room i found some old books! process by kafka which i actually really enjoyed reading and a compilation of love letters sent throughout history which is so beautiful on the inside!! also enjoy a pic of the santa maria de la salute that i took on trip to italy :)

The thing is. I don’t think I’m physically capable of writing another Stevepop fic over 3k words, you know? Like. The have that one fic. & that’s all. Cause I don’t think I can ever write anything for them that’s not like 500-1,500 word fluff or whatever. Cause It’s just like ‘go girl give us nothing’ but in a way where like Rocko said, it kinda scratches an itch. Cause I started a fic a very long time ago that was a play au & I’ve completely abandoned it. Cant get past 400 words. If I am feeling empty headed & in need for just some quick soft serotonin? That’s where Stevepop is. Purly too for that matter. But it’ll never have the depth & complexity it takes to write steveboy or jim or dare I even say tarry.... but like. Steveboy is where I do if I want the flavor of the dynamics & actual like. Thinking. Whereas Stevepop is just so effortless & light 90% of the time. It’s either 1. Fluffy goofballs or 2. Soda fucking dies lmao. & don’t get me wrong. I like reading it, it makes me happy & it’ll always been a ship that I hold dear to my heart, as it’s been something I’ve been writing for since I was 12 years old. Still, I don’t think I can write a fic for them as long as I write for Jim or steveboy or tarry or Jally or sometimes even Purly (even though same thing applies there). Idk lolz. Stevepop is just a quick rush of serotonin, but I don’t see myself writing a 5k+ word long rom com fic. I just can’t, no matter how much I love them.

Synopsis: I still love Stevepop but I’m incapable of actually writing content for them anymore.

Yeah, it makes me sad. Like,can't we just all get along? If all else fails,just throw them all into a cuddle pile and call it a day. (I do like KiriMina so I may be a bit biased,but some people act like the only queer ships are gay men when literally you can make any relationship queer by making at least on person queer cause being in what looks like a m/f will not erase someone's identity tumblr) (I said queer a lot)
