It's pretty much a mixture of Hades and ULTRAKILL. The basic premise is that you're a Murderous robot virus that posses robots to kill other robots with increasingly contrived trickshots to make the funny style number go up just to feel something.
And some asshole strong arms you into simultaneously feeding into that by helping you kill a lot of people and also not doing that by encouraging you to make friends with people you'd otherwise gun down without further thought and maybe even feel something other than the murderous lust for oil you've known for so long

Shining Stars is purely a yuri au with cameos of our favorite toons and handlers in it - but as I keep mentioning because I'm TIRED it's mostly focused on Gi and Vivi :D
Vivi in this au is a super famous pop star who is known for her use of stars in literally everything - from her fans being called Starshines to her iconic accessories all having stars on them, she's a star and she makes that EXTREMELY obvious. In front of her fans - she's an extremely confident woman who's always down to be just a little silly but she does her best to keep herself serious and always tries to make herself seem like the type of pop star that just loves music and hanging out- albeit a little too serious about her music at times lol
Though behind the scenes, she's an anxious woman who's always watching her social media numbers and worried that someday everyone's going to just abandon her and never like her again, and she's... Really bad at keeping her assistants around because of it. She's the type to cry over literally five followers (out of millions) unfollowing her at two in the morning and begging her assistant to keep her company, to get snappy if things aren't going her way (she's spoiled, she didn't know better) and just be a bit... Overbearing.
That's where Gi comes in - the assistant Vivi desperately needed but feels like she never deserved. She's as silly as ever, but extremely patient with her boss and always right there to cheer her on. She's probably Vivi's #1 fan too, always knowing every lyric to every song and knows every dance move in her routines pfft. She's full of love and life, and Vivi was... Not used to that.
Honestly, her pure love for life and constant joy for life scared Vivi a little bit at first lol
Vivi never had an assistant so willing to put up with her, so willing to take her criticism about things to heart and do better for her - so willing to just hear her out and just be right at her side, even if she is crying at two in the morning over something so stupid. Vivi definitely has her phase of closing herself off and hiding her real personality from her, though eventually Gi manages to win her over and the Vivi we know starts shining again. The soft, shy but ready to face the world anyways side of Vivi, and Gi obviously loves it pfft

Though not only do we get them eventually getting together and being a couple of idiot lesbians together, we get to see the two sharing their sides of life with each other. Gi finally gets Vivi to try fast food for the first time in her life, while Vivi shows her the pure bliss of luxury hotels and the fun times they could have while touring and seeing the world. They've lived opposite lives as Vivi has always been a little rich since Vee is also a famous game show host in this au, while Gi has always been just your average girl with a single mom and not a lot of spending money.
I love their dynamic so much in this au man, I love writing about their experiences sharing each other's favorite things and figuring out a bit more about the other along the way. Especially since I can write Vivi being a girlfail in genuinely believable scenarios (girl has no idea how to work an air fryer 💔) because it gets quite silly at times and I love it!
I keep writing about them post-lore fics too, when they're a happy couple just trying to adjust to their new life as lesbians taking on the world together, though I do have a few before it hm.
It is a strange feeling to want to help, to WANT to be there to ease another's burden. It's from a, doting perspective I suppose? Part of why I love plants really, but it's so, rare. I don't think iv ever really seen somebody who I can identify with the same, dynamic, I suppose. Wanting to help, to be there is as natural as the plant yearns to be grown. I don't think I'm going anywhere with this but it makes me, happy? It's nice to take care of others, and it's nice to live in a world full of people who want to be taken care of, be it with patience or directness, forcefulness or gentleness, with respect to distance or need for touch. The world is nice to give all these people with needs, which I, even in a very small way, can sometimes help with.
