Roxanne and Megamind try, they really do, to play it off and keep it lowkey but everyone is so excited and they accidentally hand the wedding photos to Wayne so those are circulating the room now and literally no one is buying the “Oh, come on...we’re not that special...seriously...please stop cheering...and tapping your glasses...okay maybe not that”

They can maybe get five minutes to themselves on the dancefloor which is great because Megamind does not like crowds and Roxanne is avoiding the eyes of every single one of her coworkers who have taken over the free bar. which is a pity because she could really use a drink.

Roxanne knows about the tentacles by this point (thanks Minion) so she’s having a very hard time keeping a straight face as all these high society dames keep trying to find out just what was under all that leather.

Wayne makes the most humiliating Metron of honour speech known to human or alien and they would quite like to disappear in a cloud of explosions right now.

So they spend a lot of time hiding on the dancefloor right up until the Warden catches Megamind and “I need you to come with me son,”

Except its not prison its a private home theatre and oh look its all his uncles (the ones still in jail at least) who are also all very happy for him up on a screen to say congratulations too

Roxanne finds them, they are all very impressed when it comes out that she’s got a record for assaulting a police officer.

Megamind was granted a conditional pardon as a wedding present for them from the city as it turns out. Technically this means Roxanne is more of a criminal than he is.

They get out of the room and take a moment because oh boy this is so much more than they were prepared to deal with and how are they going to get out of this one.

This is probably when they decide to make an escape and run home to figure this out because of course they can’t stay married. Megamind is/was? still a supervillain, Roxanne still has her job, they are in no way prepared to deal with any of this. They still don’t know who the new hero is going to be (probably) except Wayne has of course prepared one of the guest houses for them to stay so they make their escape from the party at least.

Roxanne has been wanting to jump into a pool in fancy dress for years.

Of course someone has to show up because he doesn’t want any of the guests drowning interrupting what had been a lovely time had by the happy couple so they squelch back to the guesthouse and Megamind a) turns down a shower with his lovely wife, and b) takes the other bedroom.

Roxanne sits in bed and stares at the ceiling for three hours because well that answers that then.

I JUST SOLVED REIGN!!! (spoilers, don't read unless you've watched all of the episodes so far)

so i started watching reign yesterday and have now watched all of the episodes so far and i think that i may have figured out something. someone has probably already gotten this, i am a bit slow, but nostradamus said that mary will cost catherine her first born, who everyone had thought was francis....BUT we learn that clarissa is actually the daughter of the queen and i think she's her first born as she isn't henry's daughter but richards. so mary and francis marrying won't cause francis to die but clarissa instead. and maybe that's why clarissa stopped them from getting married, not to save mary but to save herself... but i'm entirelty sure if i'm correct, but i hope i am because i really need to see mary and francis get married!!!!!!
