imagine if, once they’re together, eddie lets evancito slip out, maybe on accident while buck is making breakfast and looks all sleep rumpled and soft and he doesn’t even realize that buck heard him (because he sort of mumbled it while hugging him from behind as a way of saying good morning) until buck turns around with his eyes all glassy, because evan has never been special or particularly meaningful, especially after the relationship with tommy, but evancito is just so— perfect, because buck has never felt more like himself as he does when he’s looking through eddie’s eyes.
