I see @photomatt went to the Nijisanji PR school of dealing with problems. Except at least with Nijisanji, you can chalk everything up to mistranslations and panic. Even with how that blew up, there being a language barrier issue douses a lot of that fire. This on the other hand is just. Absurd. Thin-skinned is an exaggeration because thin gives him too much credit. We've got misgendering a trans person, refusing to accept that it was misgendering, banning them because of a harassment campaign and not the other way around, taking a hyperbolic display of frustration in the form of a looney toons threat as a legitimate claim, and now DMing people with his incredibly flawed posts to people complaining about him. Probably more. This is worse than when a boss of mine accidentally said something misogynistic and then I had to do damage control, because he at least had the decency to shut the fuck up and let someone else step in to do the right thing.

Incredibly unprofessional at the very least, downright offensive isn't even close to the worst.
