it's been a rough month for me, so I'm going to keep things very simple this time.

tomorrow is july 4th. like I did last year, I would like to offer up my services for pretty much anything you know I'm capable of doing in exchange for a donation to an organization that is actually making the US a better place.

I feel even more despondent about the state of this country than I did last year, but I feel that it is my responsibility to stay optimistic about a better future. things can always get worse and they can always get better, and if I'm not working towards the latter then I am capitulating to the former.

so... donate at least $15 to a good organization. you can pitch me one that you're passionate about or I can come up with some suggestions for you based on whatever your biggest concerns happen to be.

I would particularly like to help any organization that is working to alleviate the harm that our current administration is engaging in. national parks (I recommend NPCA over NPF at this point), aid to marginalized people, legal battles, increased protections of native sovereignty, protection of other natural landscapes he's trying to sell off to the highest bidder, aid to countries we've victimized, etc.

(that said, while I do believe in direct aid, I'm going to limit this to like. organizations rather than things like paypal or gofundme. it can be a small organization, but I would like there to be some oversight.)

I'm willing to do anything you've seen me do for these things in the past, and I'm also happy to learn to do something new. I just won't do any editing as I'd like to keep my paycheck work separate from this. other than that, we can probably work something out.

in the past people have asked for tarot readings, short stories, fanfiction, essays about specific topics, media reviews, divination, etc. go crazy, lmao.

Her being the only child doesn't work... She needs to be the youngest child and the favourite. After a long line of failures that fell out of favour with their father. Never knowing when it would be her turn. Obsessing over it. Striving to be perfect for him. If she just does everything he asks her to she will have his love. No task is too big. She will not be cast out like the others. Maybe it was their fault. Of course she still loves her siblings, but they probably just weren't good enough. He wouldn't even acknowledge them as his kids. They embarrass him. But not her. She's flawless. She's his daughter. He loves her. He loves her.

my one sincere hope for elain, azriel, and lucien is that when they finally enter a relationship with their respective love interests, regardless of the pairing, there is none of this "fun and distractions" "just sex" "i'll take whatever you offer me" non-committal nonsense.

i need one of them to say "i want everything." i need them to have that "i see you and i like all of it" moment. i need them to feel safe and loved when they finally get what they want, when they finally get to be with who they want.

sjm please front load the angst so when we get to see whatever combination of these characters actually getting together, we can actual enjoy an established healthy relationship, because these three don't deserve mind games when they should be receiving unconditional love
