My best friend just revealed to me that when I'm hammered and she's telling me what to do that I answer with, "yes, ma'am". So she will tell me to go to bed and get water and I'll say yes, ma'am before explicitly not doing what she said. Then, I get reprimanded. And when that happens I say, "Sorry, ma'am." and go right to do what she wanted in the first place.
