I really, really hate how every time a digital social space we rely on for community or livelihood or both completely fucking destroys itself for no reason out of the blue, the eventual response is either "fuck you, we're doing it" or "We Hear You! we'll roll it back for now and do it again later". Every single shitty change on the internet is just "remind me in three days" instead of any ability to meaningfully avoid enshittification, we can't even feel secure in basic functionality
#I'm so.#it's really awesome that we all fled to the internet because we were so isolated in offline spaces#either because of physical locations or the dissolution of accessible third spaces#and then everyone followed us here and now we're losing digital spaces to people who don't take them seriously#where the fuck are we supposed to go
