I have never been personally interested in the Super Bowl. I've never watched it. And yesterday, I worked a 14-hour shift, completely missing the Super Bowl, and I didn't really care because I'm not interested in football in general.

But you know what everyone missed?

The fact that Rafah was fucking bombed. Reportedly, around 109 (so far) civilians were killed from the bombings.

But everyone was too busy watching a billionaire, who's ruining the planet, cheer her boyfriend on at a dumb fucking game that's treated like a fucking holiday. Not to mention a fucking propaganda commercial talking about bringing home 2 hostages that were already freed on February 2nd.

It happened on Christmas, and now it's happened during a football game. The second we take our eyes off of Palestine, the worst happens.

This isn't a war. It's barely even a conflict. This is genocide.

Plain and simple.

Went to a gas station today and was the only person wearing a mask.

And meanwhile, cases in my state continue to climb.

Well, today is the first day I haven’t just sobbed relentlessly until I fell asleep in about a week. Granted, I did take a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day, but it was warranted. 

I turned down the apartment for a myriad of reasons. Despite everything, I just... I really don’t want to move out. Judge me as you will. 

I’m trying to adjust to the new laptop, and use it more often... does anyone else have anxiety about new devices? I just feel so nervous about it, and I don’t know why. I know it was expensive; it’s like a dream laptop, and it’s really very nice-- but I’m so used to my sad little 8 year old laptop that’s held together with duct tape (literally) and has a cover I can’t close so it’s just always open. That’s a laptop I can use without fear; this one is new, and expensive, and I don’t even know how to begin to test it properly to make sure “it’s the one I want” and my mom has asked me to do. 

She gave it to me on Christmas and I just started crying and she was so horrified, asking if I was ok, and if it wasn’t one I wanted, and all I could say was, “It’s wonderful but I’m so tired.” 

I’m feeling so emotionally wrung out and overwhelmed, I just want to cry for like a week and then sleep for another week, and wake up with everything resolved and without anxiety and all of this weirdness. 

I’m looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, if only to have something to do. And I’m beginning to wonder if I shouldn’t seriously consider medication again; I swear everything makes me anxious. I can’t make any decisions and I’m constantly just terrified that I’m making some huge mistake, and I’m exhausted.

what are the chances that the "you called me for six years and then left me to die in the fighting pits" won't come up at all? i vaguely remember a line from the season 5 promos we were excited for not coming on either, but i'm not sure since i wasn't too into the fandom then. this isn't me trying to be negative, so i hope it isn't coming off like that, i'm just pretty new to the fandom and i'm not sure if previous season trailers have done this.

Zero. There is literally no chance of that not coming up. That’s never how trailers work. 

And no, everything that was in the trailer for last season was in the show. There were two moments where a different take or camera angle was used since a different editor cut the trailer together than edited the episodes, but everything that was in the trailer story-wise was in the show. Even the Serpent Promo, which was more avant-garde than what this show usually likes to do, took most of the voiceover from lines in the season re-recorded by different actors.

But just to reiterate for the fandom as a whole: That’s not how trailers work. There are four more episodes. Calm down.
