We're so proud of the creations we brewed this year. It's been an amazing journey of exploration and growth! #nycbrewed #caribbeanbeer @islandtoislandbrewery's first lager... it wasn't an easy goal to achieve, that is why we named it "Highway From Bitter Helles". In very little time this #microbrewery upgraded itself strictly off the support of you our customers and fans. This year we started crafting one of the most popular and requested styles of beer, lagers. But the brand couldn't put out a straight faced lager... "how I look being the crazy kid from up the hill in Colombier giving you average shit? What you think dis is?" said Danii Oliver our founder. "No way José... I and Doug from @bitterandesters put my most fondest memories of back home in this lager... scotch bonnets and jerk seasoning." ___ This beer had notes of mesquite smoked malt, and an array of spices and pepper fruits.
