there is so much to say about this Ellie situation - I’v been just fuming for the last couple hours reading my twitter/ tumblr feed. and I’ve been wondering how best to respond- and truthfully I am at a total lost for words. 

The whole thing is wild- but it honestly just leaves me really sad and hurt. 

At this point- who cares if “Ellie” was a fake- I know in my heart that if Ellie was a really life girl - absolutely nothing would have been different. Because it’s literally the same thing that happens to women in this community EVERY fuckin time we log on (look at Geguri when she first joined contenders). 

Every women across many games know what it’s like to log on and made to feel uncomfortable. Made to feel like if you speak on coms some one is going to treat you differently. to feel like someone is belittling you or harassing you because of your gender - that is undoubtedly a very real pain for many of us. 

This whole “experiment” is just a re-living of that “trauma” - a reminder that there are so many people in this community that are bigots. A reminder that women are unwelcome in esports and gaming communities. A reminder that people don’t hear us when we talk about what it’s like being a woman in this community.

Lastly, I will say that Blizzard BETTER make a statement- They owe at least that to the women in this community. I am so done- i want fines, i want bans- They need to make a promise to improve their reporting system and announce harsher treatment against reports of sexism.

I just want to say a few things about how this side of tumblr has become so shitty!

YOU CAN’T STEAL THINGS & ASSUME THAT PEOPLE ARE OKAY WITH IT. Stealing code from people is just bad! 

USING VIEW SOURCE FOR STEALING CODE OR RELATED PURPOSES IS ALSO VERY BAD. Why would you steal code in the first place???

Using someone’s header or banner as an idea okay but don’t copy paste it! Use different colors,images,fonts! 

STOP HATING ON INNOCENT PEOPLE!!

There are so many people that make awesome themes & that make beautiful blog makeovers or banners/headers. Why should you even try to steal something?

& what the worst part of them all is that people like to have a unique blog when obviously something is stolen.

PLEASSE PLEASSSEEEE STOP STEALING!!

also everyone wants to come home to a nice & cute message after a long day of school/work or whatever you are doing that day. SENDING HATE TO INNOCENT PEOPLE IS WRONG.

I am sorry my father almost died the other day. For those who don't know for diabetic ppl when they get too excited they can actually have a heart attack. My father was rlly pissed and yeah. Not at me tho...

Also have been slammed at work so I have been tired when I got home. No energy to write. Ik this is a load of excuses to you but you don't know how much stress I have been under. I know most of you guys don't want to hear this and I DO realize there loads of ppl who have it worse than me. Idk how people tend to romanticize student life, like i tear up if someone speaks loudly to me
