I always thought of mando'a as an extremely low-context culture in communication. But that my just be my personal preference....

communication sure, but different cultural clues/cues do spring up as a result of different environments, so the perceptions of polite/impolite can vary dramatically ... also consider that mandalorians tend to adopt everyone/anyone, and that’s a whole new person with built in concepts of polite/impolite being introduced/introducing to their clan

there’s a lot of room for fun misunderstandings / shenanigans 8D

Not denying the shenanigans, I am all for those. :D In my head they’re just converging on a low-context communication. And the misunderstandings that has in itself…. I once tried to barter a deal with a Chinese partner. Talk about thinGS NOT WORKING AS EXPECTED. x_X

I live for the little cultural misunderstandings that result in (harmless but amusing) results tbh so I like the idea while keeping the language itself fairly simple to learn/integrate
