Would you guys be interested in participating in a creation event centered around disability/chronic illness rep? Not centered around any specific ships or characters at all as long as there’s some kind of disability or chronic illness present, and the visibility of said disability or chronic illness could be as subtle or obvious as you’d want it to be! I think i’d allow any ratings of work for this one honestly, and it could be any type of media— art, fic, whatever really!

I think I want to make a couple polls about this if i can, because this is an entirely different event concept separate from junhun week so i want to see what vibes best with yall! But first i want to see if anyone would/could even participate! If this event has enough interest, or any at all, it will be starting in the middle of the year most likely— if not, way later! Prompts and more details will come later too after I gauge interest!

shout out to all the disabled people who are mostly housebound and rarely leave home. shout out to all the disabled people who are completely housebound and haven't left your home in days/weeks/months/years. shout out to all the bedbound disabled people and those who don't have the supports to go outside or leave their spaces.

I love you. You are deserving of love and friendship and whatever else you need to be happy and fulfilled and do the things you want to do in life. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

Is it not REALLY weird to unnecessarily assume someone's mobility based exclusively on perceived age?

Like, The Youth ™ are not invariably spry and athletic.

Sometimes, The Elderly ™ are fully capable of hauling ass at scary speeds.

So, perhaps we shouldn't be shocked if we see an Elder ™ chasing someone down. Or if a Youth ™ is sitting when they could, technically, be standing.

Perhaps, it's none of our business.

Perhaps, no one is being hurt by just letting them be. (exept whoever the Elder ™ is chasing)

I need help.

I don't usually like to ask for help like this on here, I feel like there are so many more important causes than me, but this is for my family, so I am reaching out anywhere I can.

Our car is broken, and we need to fix it ASAP. We were told when it was sold to us that it was in perfect condition, and then quickly found out that was not true. He was a regional manager at a car repair place, so we trusted him when he said it was given a once-over and the go ahead.

I have chronic pain, and can't walk all that far most days, which means no access to my physical therapy appointments. And, my moms whole job relies heavily on her having a car (She's a caregiver with individual clients), and we by no means have the money to fix this.

I will also be setting up commissions on my Ko-Fi for anyone who would rather get a piece of art, or something written for them.
