Ice baths. With a caretaker: having to make the whumpee go in an ice bath to help their high fever, maybe medicine isn’t available. Or giving the whumpee an ice bath to help their sore muscles. With a whumper: Making the whumpee go in an ice bath as a way to torture them. Slowly filling the tub with ice and cold water if the whumpee doesn’t answer whumper’s questions. Whumper shoving whumpee’s head under the freezing water.
