In a worse world, Ice was in Attica. In a worse world, Bernardo, Riff, and Tony were dead. In a worse world, there were three broken girls sobbing in each other's arms in a small little apartment on the West Side. But it wasn't this world. In this world, a friend had let slip to me where the rumble was, and now there was a lot of angry feminine yelling, a lot of Spanish curses tossed around, and several very embarrassed boys.

"¡Idiota, cabrón, cabrón! ¿Un cuchillo? ¡Bernardo!*"

"¡Dijiste que lo detendrías, Tony! ¡Ahora tú también luchas!**"

"¡No puedo creerlo! Esperaba algo, ¡pero esto! ¡Maldito seas, Ice!***"

The three boys currently in question were looking at their shoes, guilt ridden expressions on their faces.

"Babe..."

"¡Ay, no!" I snapped at Ice, I was angry, rightfully so, but now he was looking like a kicked puppy, and it made me feel bad... I sighed, pinching my nose. "You said you weren't gonna do this."

"It's not my fault! Bernardo swung first!" Ice protested. Cue more yelling in the background from Anita and Maria as they dragged Bernardo and Tony off. The rest of the Sharks dispersed too sensing there'd be no bloodshed today. I wanted to be mad... but he looked so genuinely remorseful that I simply shook my head.

"Take me home." I huffed. He was at my side in an instant, arm wrapped around my waist, guiding me in the same direction Bernardo and the others had gone when...

"Taking orders from a Spic, Ice? That's low."

"Hey, out of Line A-Rab." Riff warned, but Ice was already storming back towards the Jets.

"Say it again." He growled.

"Hey, Ice, please..." I begged.

"No, I wanna hear him say it."

"What? It's true, isn't it... first Tony, now you? I don't get it, do those Spics have magic pussies or some—" A-Rab didn't get to finish his sentence before a strong punch to the jaw sent him sprawling backward

"Fucking asshole!" Ice roared, his fists slamming into A-Rab's face repeatedly. It took Diesel, Mouthpiece, and Riff to pry Ice off of the bloodied Jet boy.

"Hey, hey, cool off, take your girl home!" Riff ordered Ice, shoving him towards me. Ice wrapped his arms around me, shooting another withering glare at the Jets before practically dragging me out of the salt shed and back towards my apartment. It was a quiet walk... tense, neither of us really knowing how to start the conversation.

Once safely secured in my kitchen/dinning room, Ice took to washing A-Rab's blood off his knuckles.

"That got out of hand."

"Understatement, but go on." I huffed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't... just, when he started insulting you..."

"Stop talking before I come over there and kiss you."

"Huh?" Came the dumbstruck reply.

"I think its sweet actually, I do, I don't like the violence, but thank you." I whispered, wrapping my arms around him from behind. Ice turned off the sink and wiggled around so he could hold me tight.

"I love you, gonna show you just how much." He chuckled, picking me up effortlessly and hoisting me onto the counter. I yelped in surprise, grabbing onto my cupboard for stability.

"Are you really? Or are you just gonna tease?" I smirked.

"If you don't like my teasing, why are you moaning?" He shot back. I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not moanin--ah~!" I stopped short as Ice slipped a hand under my skirt and pressed his hand against my panty-clad mound.

"What were you saying babygirl?" He looked up at me, a shit-eating grin on his face. "I should have fucked you right there in front of A-Rab, in front of all of them." He smirked, fingers sliding under my underwear and rubbing against my folds.

"I'd prefer the bed." I panted softly.

"Alright then babe, let's go."
