🥹 Do you ever get emotionally affected by your threads?

Sometimes I do, it depends on the character and the type of thread that is being written while I do have a habit of writing angst whether it is RP related or the many fanfics that I am working on. There is a small part of some of my characters that I do relate to so sometimes I get the emotions from that depending on what the focus is. I have written a good amount of threads where I have gotten that feeling from.

🛋️ What’s your ideal RP writing environment (music, silence, chaos)?

I tend to listen to music, podcasts, paranormal videos on youtube or even binge watching a show I have seen before or a series that I am wanting to get caught up on. Silence is the one thing that I don't really like working in since I do like to multitask a bit also when I am writing. It never really is quite when I am writing since I don't like sitting in silence.

@ice-and-lightning Foxians are said to be agile and generally, they are. Gua, not so much. He had managed to get up on the roof, but getting down turned out to be trickier.

As he's trying to reach from the roof to a nearby arch to glide down the pillar, he fails spectacularly. The boy expects hard ground, but instead, he lands on something softer than ground. He lands on someone.

Green eyes widens and he quickly scrambles off the person. "S-s-sorry!"

Before GuGu has a chance to shield her, the child crashes into Zhihao, sending notes and books to the ground. Ears flatten and her tail flicks with an agitated note to it. Till she sees the child that had landed on her. Small and twig thin, patchy unkempt fur and a folded ear. Whatever agitation had been in her heart fades in favor of the more dutiful healer in her.

"You should be more careful." Zhihao has a feeling this kid will run if she lets him... "Since you knocked me over from your own carelessness, you'll be helping my gather my books and carry them to my home, won't you? I think I even sprained my wrist." She hadn't, but it's easy enough to fake.

Plenty enough of an excuse to get this child to her home and feed him something. She doubts he'd stay for a fully cooked meal, but leftovers-

SPARROWS. REALLY LOUD ONES. There must have been a nest just outside, where to and fro a family made their commune. Each time one flew past a chorus of chirps sounded from the young. In the days that had passed since her first awakened, the timing of the noise had slowly become like clockwork, and she'd begun to memorize it.

It's just one of the few things she could do when bedridden. Her body ached, but she had least regained movement in her back, allowing her to sit up without much effort. Though she could feel her legs, they felt like gelatin . . . it might be a bit longer before she'd regained the strength to move about.

And they were trying—like hell, they tried—if not to help clear the venom, then at least to get her to speak about her ordeals. It wasn't like Mari could recall much between her capture and arriving on the Loufu . . . but if she could, then she was stubborn about relenting such information, distrustful and wary of the Arbiter-General who had taken her in.

She'd hadn't been keen towards authority since Lulucion, though she still treated high rankings with general respect. It was shown out of duty and obligation—never admiration.

Another round of birdsongs, and Mari shifts, breathing in the strange scents of her bed as she buries her face into the pillow. Her ears catch the sound of soft footsteps making their way closer, so she rolls onto her side to face the door. Shuttah—it slides open, and there stands a boy, maybe a few years younger than her.

Her copper eyes squint for a moment, as if registering him, then blink away the confusion.

He was clearly smaller than her, but his attire and composure carried an air of dignity. His long blonde hair was mostly well kept, and held back in a long ponytail. Mari reaches to rub the weariness from her eyes, and slowly sits up.

Does she speak? Does she greet him? What's he doing here?

Brushbuddy has found a nice, toasty place to sleep. It's soft and warm. With a little yawn, they're soon asleep.

Just to get woken up by their resting place moving. "Biii?" they chirp and poke out their furry little head to see what's going on.

richeh didn't say anything, simply lifting up the brushbuddy into her arms before settling herself in front of the window. she held the creature on her chest, frowning a little as she stared outside. she didn't want to speak to anyone, but she also didn't want to be alone...

"You will stay with me, won't you?" her voice was soft, fingers gently petting through their fur.

The situation with Hooley left a mark on Jiaoqiu physically and mentally, his blindness being proof of that, but that had been his decision. One that the Foxian did not regret for the sake of giving his friends and allies the advantage that was needed against the large Borisin. It was Moze who found him. It was Moze who stuck by his side along the other medical professionals who made sure that he was able to recover properly. The damage had been done though, his eyesight was gone. It was unknown if there was a chance it would return, he knew that they were searching for a cure.

That had been made clear to him even before they left to return home.

Jiaoqiu thought that he was fine, but there were times when those memories would come back with a vengeance. Hoolay's voice, those claws before they were followed by those teeth of his. A flash of it while he was dealing with a simple task or when he was resting for the night. A memory that was something that wouldn't disappear with a snap of his fingers. It wasn't the first time that he had been woken by them, it wasn't going to be the last either because of how fresh it still lingered in his mind.

He could not escape from them. No matter how much he tried.

A gasping breath. Hands resting against his shoulders before one was soon supporting his back and gripping one of his hands. A touch that Jiaoqiu was familiar with because of how many times he had felt it before. Moze's voice soon followed cutting through the rushing sound that flowed through his ears in the middle of his panic, he thought that he was here. He thought that Hoolay had been standing in the room with him once more, but the other's presence proved that wrong. He was safe. Hoolay was not here.

A small nod as his fingers gripped Moze's hand a bit too tightly, but he needed to ground himself. "I thought... he... Hoolay... here."

Kakavasha was the precious baby brother for as long as he was someone. The his identity was stripped from him entirely and he had to forge a new mask for himself under enemy and friendly fire. The blonde has no idea how to care about children. He barely remembers how he had been treated and tries to mirror those sentiments, for his family – in his eyes – was infallible. It's questionable how good this works. Kids tend to get excited about him because he is colorful and shiny, his rings and many decorations are easily grabbed and pulled which can cause excitement in small humanoids. He also has the patience of a saint when it comes toward little humanoids despite their noises drilling directly into a migraine. For what it's worth he is trying his very best to make sure children are taken care of. But as per knowledge or skill? He is rather lackluster in both regards despite being entertaining to them.
