I got a #piescream at @eatpoppie today for my after-chemo treat. It’s brown butter pecan ice cream with their fall special apple-cranberry crumb cake, plus caramel sauce, real whipped cream, and a crumbly oat topping. But it wasn’t just sweets, we also stopped for a bowl of green posole at @jimmycartersmexicancafe to warm up first. I had a chest port access today for my CT scan, so I got ice cream! Mom and I split a delicious pineapple #dolewhip and the Big Bradda special - all of the best dishes, lava chicken, kalbi beef rib, kalua pig, mac salad and rice - at #homestylehawaiian.
