I sit outside every night for a few hours, watching the night sky shift as time passes by. So, have this short FunnyBunny moment it made me think of.
Sometimes, he'll sit just outside the tent, gazing upon the stars within the digital night sky.
He can't recall when everything was updated to look so realistic. Some stars brighter than others as they flickered in an impossible distance.
"Don't you ever..." Jax fell on to his back into the grass, reaching his gloved hand up into the night sky as he tried to reach for what he couldn't obtain. "Just..."
All Pomni could do was stand there in silence as she watched the rabbit, his sudden change in demeanor throwing her off.
"They call to me." His voice sounded as distant as the constatations.
"Call how?" Pomni inched her way towards Jax, taking a seat next to him at a respectful distance.
He never did turn to look at her, yellow eyes lost beyond the cosmos. Somewhere no one but him could reach.
"... Nevermind." His hand dopped, the crook of his elbow now hiding his expression from the jester next to him.
With much care, Pomni laid next to him, her own pinwheel eyes now focused on the digital night sky.
"I think I understand in a way." The way she said it was gentle, yet it held a somber tone all the same.
She ignored him, taking in a deep breath of fresh air that didn't exist.
Silence fell upon the two, Jax shifting where he laid. Soon enough, he removed his arm, dropping it to his side as his fingers brushed Pomni's for a brief moment.
A few more moments passed before he decided to respond.
The question seemed to hold multiple layers, emotion in the rabbit's tone that the jester couldn't rexognize.
Without thinking much about it, she shorted the distance between their hands, hooking her index finger with Jax' pinkie.
