you're a literal transphobe. "it/its" and as a supposed male, speaking on transmisogyny. i dont' give a damn if you're a "nOnBinArY mAlE", you're still privileged, idiot
1. using it/its pronouns for oneself is never transphobic. it just isn’t. end of story.
2. if i were trying to explain why transmisogyny exists, and trying to explain precisely how to deal with it, and describing (hypothetical) experiences i have had with it, and deciding what trans women should/shouldn’t do, yeah, i would be a transmisogynist.
BUT. saying that we should always gently express worries to our trans women friends over whether they’ve said something tm... that’s not bad. if a trans woman friend of mine said something that i thought was tm, i would ask her about it. i wouldn’t say “omg you’re bad for saying that!! aaaa misogynist!!!!!”. no. that is not my place. another trans woman could say that, but not me. all i would do is raise my concern -- “is that transmisogynist, or am i incorrect?”
and if i was wrong? okay! i’d be wrong and i’d be fine with that. if i didn’t raise the question, i’d never have the learning opportunity. also, if that friend didn’t want to educate me, she wouldn’t have to.
don’t call folx idiots. if you’re trying to defend a community (trans women), don’t throw another community (disabled folx) under the bus to do so. you are also throwing enbies under the bus by mocking us.
for the future, anon, send all hate and discourse to @mogaikinscourse. i don’t know why you didn’t just send this ask there anyways, since i know what post you’re upset about. i’m not going to let this happen again. leave.
