While shuffling through the files from my old, dead laptop (Thank you cables that let you transfer data from old harddrives UNPH), I rediscovered some Iehgog related reference material I’d been working on! It was gonna be part of a set, but only three had been completed by the time of The Great Computer Death. It’s been awhile, so I don’t know if I might update or refine some of this material later (plus I feel my art has improved a bit since), but I wanted to share it BEFORE I start thinking it’s “too crappy” to post.

I’m also also aware that some of my friends and watchers like iehgogs! So it seemed fair to at least put some kinda ref material up for them. You’re always free to send me asks about them if there’s something that hasn’t been reffed yet in the meantime too.

Two pratice sketches with Irken Pilot Sic on the left and Iehgog Sic on the right in her usual armor! As much as I love Sic her proportions can be a PAIN IN THE ASS to draw consistently (I think I’ve been drawing her too stretched out in both iterations sob). Think I’ve got it now though! I may go back at some point and line/color one or both of these later.

I feel bad that I didn’t put up any sketches in the past few days (monthly hit me like a ton of bloody bricks), but I did manage to squeeze these out and I’m going to post them up now. c: Just some doodles of Iehgogs Sah Ergo, Sah Iam, and Medic Chup! Also a tiny Pilot Sic head. I can’t think of much relevant lore to include in this entry, but I can at least say that Iam getting drunk as a skunk and lounging around ass-naked is TOTALLY in character for her. Also, Chup screaming at the sky while naked out of frustration doesn’t sound too weird either. As a sidenote, Iehgog legs are tricky to draw correctly because they’re not quite “typical furry legs”. They’ve got very short calves and a LOT of foot so the silhouette of their legs looks more human than you might expect considering the internal structure. Also, though they’re normally bound for support or at least stuffed in stiff shoes, iehgogs have LONG ASS TOESIES that can part, so it’s more like they’ve got big frog feet on man legs! (Iehgins techincally did this better - a closely related species - but I’ll talk more about them in the ACTUAL REF I’M WORKING ON. . .)

Version 1 of a chart I’m making to show the average heights of most of the alien races I’ve made for the Myriaverses setting! I still have a few to add like some of @altamaranempire‘s species and other races we specifically develop together, like the cudalforms, but this is a good start. The original height chart template can be found here and is free to use. c:

Original species version of Tallest Ergo! I’ll make sure to post up a reference for this species (Iehgogs) at some point, but for now, just know they’re a revamp of a race I made a long time ago that are basically frog-manders with nanites in their bodies and symbiotic biotech plants in their backs.
