Hi!! If you don't mind a lil platonic stuff I was wondering if you guys could do some headcanons about Ienzo and someone who has a protective older sibling type relationship with him?
Platonic sibling energy is absolutely wonderful!! Thank you so much for sending this in. I hope you enjoy it, I had such a fun time with it.

**Watching Over You - Ienzo and Older Reader Platonic Headcanons**
--------------------------------------
-You’ve always looked out for Ienzo. The boy never looked out for himself, so it was often left to you.
-When both of you were growing up in Radiant Garden, you’d often find him fast asleep in the library, drooling on an opened book. He was hopeless.
-Sometimes you’d drape your jacket over him while you read beside him, usually he’d wake up on his own and act as if nothing happened. Or if he was really out, you’d carry him back to his room, mindful not to pass in front of the other apprentices. Last thing Ienzo needed was jeering remarks from the likes of Braig or Lea.
-When Xehanort lost it and went on his rampage on the apprentices, you placed yourself between him and Ienzo. It didn’t matter in the end, both of you were taken down and woke up as Nobodies.
-Ienzo… well, Zexion, was different after that. You were too, but even without a heart, you worried about him. It was more subdued that before, but still there all the same. Looking out for him felt like an extension of yourself, as if it were your only connection to when you were a human. Zexion accepted your help, most of the time. He was colder, calculating, and you often found him lost to his illusions.
-There were a few times you were able to talk with Zexion between the missions Saix sent you both on. At the beginning, Zexion would create an illusion of the gardens you’d walk through together. Or of the castle library, where the two of you could forget about the Castle That Never Was for a little while. As the months went by though, so did the comforting illusions.
-Then came Castle Oblivion. You went with him there. Neither of you made it out. You remember your last moments. You just hoped Zexion was alright.
-You hadn’t expected to wake up again, let alone with a heart. Zexion took it the hardest between the two of you. He shut down and wouldn’t talk about it. But you didn’t go away. You’d take him tea and talk to fill the silence. You were open about your memories and your new heart. He listened.
-Sometimes you worried you were overbearing. He wasn’t actually your little brother after all. But when you mentioned the idea of giving him space, he’d tell you that wasn’t necessary. He enjoyed your company.
-Late one night, he seeked you out on his own. You were in the garden and the moment you greeted him everything he’d been bottling up came tumbling out. He was beside himself, broken, and you listened to every word. Then you held him, promising that he was alright. All of you were. This was his second chance to make things right and all of them understood because it was their second chance, too.
-That night changed something in him. The following weeks you saw his old self coming back. You knew he was truly back when you found him fast asleep in the library. Chuckling to yourself, you draped your coat over him and sat down beside him. After all, it was your job to look after him.
