backstory: Sam was sent to a facility that claimed to focus on rehabilitation for those who may be at war with substance abuse, mental illness, etc., for a very low cost. Sam was sent by her siblings in hopes of keeping her violent tendencies in check. What they were not aware of was the facility’s true intentions of profiting off the patients, trafficking bodies until they were to be butchered and sold to whoever wanted a pound of human meat.
Within the facility, Sam created relationships with a few of the other patients until she was blackmailed by one of the guards, Hugo, to help him steal from the facility by importing human meat for his own gain and profit. Things did not go as expected, as everyone became aware of the true nature of the facility.
Sam was then killed at the hands of her former friend, Johna, as he was convinced by Hugo that she was responsible for the death of his younger sister. Sam's body was left to rot, had it not been for one of the other patients who had a borderline obsession with her, Moza.
Moza, who was sent there for her hallucinations, which were just Slender’s way of puppeteering through her, kept Samara’s body, embalming her for the many months she kept it secret. When she was caught with Sam's body, now sewn together, she could not risk losing her. Moza fulfilled Sam's final wish and burned the facility to the ground, unaware of what she had caused.
Moza’s last look at the world was seeing a reanimated Sam crawl through the flames and out into the wild.
present: nearly 20 years have gone by since the loss of their sister. Aria is spending the next two weeks with her remaining family, her two sisters Jordan and Freddie, as their mother, whom they had an estranged relationship with, has died.
Aria shows no interest in the event but goes in hopes of attempting to salvage what relationship she has left with the two girls, as she had cut contact after hearing of Sam’s death. After the funeral, later at night, she attempts to sneak off in her car, unable to deal with all the memories of her hometown resurfacing.
She did not expect to hit a random woman standing in the middle of the road, completely nude. As she inspects the body, to her shock, it is Samara.
The next week is spent with Aria keeping her reanimated sibling, whom she deems a monster, in the basement, hiding her away from the outside world. Things begin to spiral as Aria deals with her own bloodlust, one she had tried to suppress a long time ago, going as far as convincing herself that Sam is in need of human flesh as food. Force feeding her, doing what she can against Sam's will.
After Sam is found by her eldest sister Jordan, an accident occurs, with Sam unintentionally killing her with a shotgun. Aria loses all stability as she keeps both Samara and Freddie hostage. Unable to escape, Freddie locks the two in the basement and calls for help the best she can.
Aria, sick and starving, ill and infected as she had been feeding portions of her leg to Sam, attempts to fight back. Neither of them can kill the other. They cannot do it.
Aria is taken to a hospital and deemed insane, while Freddie lives her remaining teenage years in foster care, moving from house to house. Sam has fled the scene, laying on the woodland floor. She sees three hooded men and understands she has been chosen. She closes her eyes and accepts the path she was meant to go down, serving a tall and faceless entity.
Appearance: she has no set specific design in terms of clothing, only wearing different types of thick sweaters, coats, gear for heavy lifting work, puffer jackets, anything to survive the cold and harsh woods
