Don’t panic! Bloodlines is still my main project and it will always have priority!
BUT. I think I need something without horror to rotate between, and more messy slice-of-life drama relationship coded :D Basically I need another creative project as my outlet for this creative project lol.
Back in 2024 I created a whole trilogy concept, and when I was in the hospital I rewatched a lot of series… and now they are living rent-free in my head again. I tried to resist. I failed. Soooo I want to start writing one of them. They’ll each have different MCs, but I’d love to loosely connect the stories. A little shared universe moment here and there.
Now here’s the problem: I can't decide which one to start with. So obviously, this is now your responsibility.
This blog will remain the Bloodlines blog. I made a more general one for other projects (because I refuse to run 70 side blogs for my 70 wips I have).

I made three intro posts for each story with all the information + the ROs, so go stalk those and then vote for your favorite xD
To summarize:
Tangled = Overburdened badass MC (Shameless-coded, justice for Fiona energy)
Glamour = Cinnamon roll MC whose only crime is existing (Phoebe & Betty White coded)
Immortal = Arrogant Blair Waldorf-style nepo baby MC with elite-level audacity (mix also includes Kuzco, Elle Woods & London Tipton tbh)
Choose wisely. I will be living with your decision.
Whats something that you want to write in IF? Like monster x monster, angels, soulmate trope, unicorns and etc....like something in mind or what you want to add in more? :D

ROs and relationships that are toxic and messy. I love writing villains and relationships where both parties want to kill one another. I love my TLS cast but, even considering Ravi and Croft, they're all so hinged. I would love to write a story with evil ROs who would do terrible things <3
Vampires.
Divinity.
Knights.
MCs who are more unhinged and/or terrible people. My favorite personal OC of mine is an evil vampire mob boss grifter who killed his ex with his teeth. I'm constantly trying to invoke his energy but it is not always compatible with TLS' MC (tho we're getting there) (god i wish I had a clever name for the TLS MC, à la Sidestep.
Hand in hand with the previous point, MCs who are the most cringefail pathetic bastards on the planet. Actually, MCs who are both of these points at once.
I'd love to play with an unreliable narrator. Unsure how deep I'll be able to go with it for TLS but the idea of unreliable narrators in IF intrigues me.
Timeloop perhaps. Or some sort of......dream hell.
Casinos as a setting (my beloved).
Immortality as horror.
I already mentioned divinity but also ascension into something divine (as both horror and character motivation).
I think it'd be fun to write a story with a side quest system in a very dnd/rpg-esque sense. It's the Gamer in me.

Yk, I was gonna ignore you since i did have some ideas but I am gonna share ideas that I gave up on or I know I probably won't get into...maybe !
1. untitled online game
This takes place in the 2014 and its where you play as a online deity who travels to different internet places and there was a few ROs planned, like I had an idea for 5 and it was gonna be a short game. Each chpater inolves around 1 RO so short game again planned, about 6 chapters where the 6th chapter is the ending of your chosen RO but it showws like different problems of the internet.
(1)male RO named "Kite" online / "Yuri" offline and he dealed with depression and social anxiety where you had to deal with his problems, make him worse or better but too worse, he kills himself.
(2)female RO named "Cali" online / "Ann-Marie" offline and she is like a cyberbully of the internet and just is a bully, where yiu can make her worse and her better. Making her worse which I planned it to be was getting in trouble with police.
(3)nb RO named "Spiders" online / "Alice" offline which they deal with blackmailing and being a subject of it, which you can again worse or better. Worse was planned to be suicide due to the blackmailing.
(4)trans RO "Sunset" online / "Ellis / Elise" offline (yes this is where I decided to keep that name for this game lol), and they deal with grooming and a toxic online relationship, worse or better once again. Worse is they meet up with their toxic 'lover' and gets kidnapped / never seen again.
(5)gn RO "Reader" online / "Aj / Alyce" offline which is just a porn addicted person who is too addicted lmao and thats the problem with them. Again worse or better, the worse ending was planned which is they get in trouble lile false news towards them and its like a police raid or smth !
So MC would be an internet 'angel' described by the ROs and they know everything about them since again its the internet, that's the whole plot of this IF idea that I had lol !
(0) Why I didn't go through with this one or might not continue it, It was kinda hard to code in my opinion well to me it was and I didn't want to go through with it because I didn't like this story that much but its interesting now and maybe some more IFs I want to do, I will bring back these characters or as an easter egg !

2. untitled confused game
This takes place in around 2017 which is about an MC and one RO where its about childhood and trauma (ofc) and going back to the hometown where MC came from. This was about an child goes through something traumatic (where you can pick a background; sexual abuse, emotional abuse, or psychical abuse) and it had it own routes, where the MC meets a friend named "Bea" and Bea is GN and the RO, MC lives for a while and comes back after college (would be 24yo) and meets Bea again but its weird, trauma comes back and they meet their past abuser, it would have like 5 chapters planned or less since its about trauma and getting over it.
(1) Bea is supposed to be an RO where you begin to wonder if they are real or fake but in the end, Bea is made up. MC made Bea up to forget their trauma and was a comfort person to MC but they still would like the traumatic stuff that MC had gone through and there were two endings, I planned for Bea and MC.
(2) The Bad Ending, MC gets lost in trauma and doesn't get over it, they fall more in as Bea slowly turns into their abuser and it gets worse, MC's ending is suicide for this one which symbolizes, someone can't move on and try to get better.
(3) the good / true ending is where MC manages to get over it and Bea slowly leaves and its a symbol for that MC got over it and someone who wanted to escape and they did, so its a good ending for MC.
(0) Why I didn't go through with it or might not continue it, I wasn't so sure because it will deal themes of SA / sexual abuse or violence and I planned to show it kinda of since but also in a way where its childish or silly, another part was because I didn't where else to go with this !
3. untitled horror carnival game
This takes place in 1919 around the era of world war 1 and after it ended and it is in Germany or Japan, I couldn't figure it out that much but it was when MC was forced into it as a child so the story starts like in 1910s or during it and now they are 18 or 19, idk but it was about MC wanting to escape because the carnival wasn't healthy for them and the workers / co-workers aren't so nice to MC during it, so its about escaping. I wasn't sure about ROs but I planned 3 ROs for this IF.
(1)male RO was named "Mister Yo" and he was a rich man who would watch the shows and was about the age of 48 and was way older who met MC when they were 17 when they tried escaping but Yo recognized MC from the show before that and managed to distract them until the head leader of the carnival caught up and got MC back.
(2)female RO was named "Fern" and she was another worker but a bit younger than MC, which I planned her to be 17 or 16 at first then going to 17 and then to 18 as the story went on and she was asexual so no chances of sexual things with her also due to her age but she was a bit clumsy and MC often got in trouble for her mistakes.
(3)nb RO was named "Erna" and they were 23 and they were fairly rich and helped people during the war, a medic so they came often traveled and came by the carnival and is the one that tries to help MC and Fern escape.
(0) Why I didn't go through with this or might not continue it, it was due to the themes which I didn't think much about when I was creating an idea of this IF which war crimes, abuse, sexual violence and grooming but I was like eh plus one of the ROs being 16-18 so I decided against it but who knows !
4. untitled toxic relationship game.
This was inspired by the Tyler the Creator song, IFHY and it was about an toxic relationship where MC is either the abuser or the Victim in this relationship just to see both sides, the relationship being a toxic, all-consuming relationship. I planned two ROs for this IF.
(1)gn RO which was named "Sam / Samantha" and they were the lover of MC and either being the Abuser or the Victim in this IF and they were obviously harming the MC or themselves.
(2)gn RO which was named "Kason / Kate" and they were the best friend of Sam / Samantha where you go to them or S goes to them and is just a kinda secret or sub RO, and they were there for an ending.
(3) There was two endings planned well four, two endings for K and two endings for S, and it was a bad and good ending but I had no clue for them and another 2 endings, which MC choices none and lives on their own, bad or good again no plans.
(0) Why I didn't go through with this or might not continue, this was like an idea that I suddenly had after listening to Tyler The Creator playlist and that song IFHY popped up, but I really had no clues for endings or how the characters would react or the Abuser / Victim routes will go also the topic of MC being the Abuser (which I was fine with it but not sure if anyone else was fine with it lol !)
5. untitled monster fucking game
This would take place like in 2018-2019 which is what I planned but I guess it doesn't matter now that I think about it ! But your lover whom you thought was a human while you met them as a child, turns out to be an monster and this was more towards comedy and romance where it wasn't as dark as my other games and I got this idea because I was like , its my first time making an IF and like posting it so I was like, I shouldn't make something dark ! Only one RO planned for this maybe another RO would work lol !
(1)gn RO named "White" regardless of gender and they met you as an child while they were a young one as well and they slipped up and you found out that they are a monster.
(2)which is the idea that I now came up with and its an secret RO or sub RO where it's a monster hunter gn RO and no name planned LOL ! but this is the idea !!
(3)No endings planned since it was just a small thought for this but maybe you can come up with some ideas.... !
(0) Why I didn't go through with this or might not continue, this was a small idea and was more on the comedy side and I am going to be honest, I am not that good with funny stuff and it wasn't my style of things and also it was just a small and sudden I had.
6. untitled gay historical game.
This takes place during and after world war 2 where you play as an male-locked MC who falls in love with an male named "Wellison" again this name was taken for this IF lol ! but Wellison is a playboy when you were both younger and again it centered but unrequited love and homophobia, where Wellison gets married to an woman but you too are still close and MC is mentally unwell so wasn't in the war and its about longing as well !
(1) MC longs for Wellison and it was short, where there are really no ROs lmao but MC would have romantic and sexual choices with Wellison before he got married but its more about forgetting the longing or still have the longing of another who doesn't feel the same.
(2) The endings would be letting go where MC lets go of Wellison finally another other was cling on which MC still holds on Wellison and I planned it to be like 4 or 5 chapters !
(0) Why I didn't go through with this or might not continue, I wasn't sure because it was more like longing and not everyone will like this which was the idea or things I came up with like oh, people probably wouldn't like this and I wasn't sure how it would go !
That is all, its not in order but it was the ideas that I found again in my notes or just suddenly remember but it might not be the notes that I originally came up with...
I think I first came up with that Monster fucking IF, then confused game then toxic relationship game, then maybe the gay one or online which then and finally lastly It was carnival game.

I’m fine with anyone doing it! I’m not going to give you loads of really detailed, coherent feedback/advice, but I’m totally down to be a cheerleader of sorts if you’re ever feeling about doubtful about your future wip(s)! Also, I really like hearing about what people have in store for us all, it’s always interesting.

Are you planning on beginning any new IF IP after you are done with this book, or with this series?
I know you have some ideas in mind, most set in the past, and I was wondering about your workflow and planning.
Also, I do coincide with you in loving to set things in the past. It makes the stakes more real when there is no internet involved, but I also love the aesthetics.
I kind of do. Although it’s not set in stone yet. I could change my mind. I might even try to write two IFs at the same time (kill me that’s so much work 😓)
Yeah I like not having to rely on easy ways out like cellphones and things move so fast now that any reference could become obsolete. Like twitter isn’t called twitter anymore.
I not only do it for the aesthetics but also for the history and music. I think it’s much better to write and vicariously live through the past with fiction than dream about actually living in the past since apart from a small group of people everyone else had it bad
