so very happy it was dr cassie mckay who got to lay into ogilvie’s horrible comments about howard

in season 1 she missed a patient’s diagnosis because she was too focused on the weight and was corrected by dr collins

so now we see that not only was she willing to learn, she could overcome a bias. even if it wasn’t a conscious one, it affected how she treated the patient, and from then on she probably made conscious effort to not let it steer her care

and it also showcases that dr collins being there mattered - she was a good teaches that actually changed the way her junior residents practiced medicine

I have recently fallen into the kriselle angst hole (though I love them wholesomely too!) But I must admit, the fandom terrifies me. As a artist who does want to draw fanart fo them, and is currently even making a doodle, your art of them have really been a joy to suck me into them more. But again, the fandom terrifies me of its "gatekeeping" ways i guess I would say, when to me, content is content, and i'm just going to consume them all.

oohh… gatekeeping in what sense? (<- genuine question) i understand the sentiment tho, fandoms can end up feeling kind of closed and cliquey sometimes, and you feel like you have to “prove yourself” in order to be Accepted… and it starts to feel like you have to go scavenging around a bit to find people to talk to about stuff…

if it helps, i did recently join that one kriselle discord server, though i mainly just check the art channels and not much else (huge surprise i know). its pretty new and fairly active so i mostly just lurk… (so i dont recommend joining if you just want to talk to me or something) but theres lots of people to discuss kriselle things with there if you want!

anyway, you should draw them!!! im cheering you on!!!! you got this!!!! more than anything else, draw that fanart for yourself, draw what you want to see until you’re satisfied… only then can u find fulfillment through fanart…
