Bookish questions: 3, 6, 17, 21, 24. I'm nosy. :)
[a meme about books]
3. fantasy or sci-fi
Is urban fantasy a suitable middleground here? (^_^;) I’m trying to think off the top of my head what I read more of...it’s probably fantasy? Let’s go with fantasy. There are some sci-fi books I really like (why is The Martian the only thing I can think of right now, I’m sure there are more) but I don’t think I get emotionally involved with them in quite the same way, or as often, as with fantasy books.
6. Bad plot with good characters or good plot with bad characters
Mostly leaning towards bad with good characters. If I care about the characters, then I can usually deal with bad plot. A good plot can usually disguise bad characters long enough to get me to finish the book but it’s a pretty unfulfilling experience.
17. movie or tv adaptations
TV adaptations...as long as they are the short form series, and not 24 episodes stuffed with filler....
21. bookmarks or random objects to mark your page
Bookmarks, although I have also used receipts or scraps of paper from time to time.
24. physical or e-book
Hmmm. E-books because I can store so many of them and also keep one on my phone for easy reading when I’m bored or stuck in public. But you really can’t beat having a physical book in your hand.
