hey guys! so first of all i found this gif and ISN’T IT THE CUTEST?? well today i was on youtube then all the sudden an obviously fake “microsoft” help website said my laptop was “blocked” they told me to call a number so i brought it down to my mom and she said, “this is totally fake but im gonna call them anyway and see what they are trying to do” so im like, okay whatever mom i wouldn’t get involved but okay.. so she called, and it was a CLEARLY fake guy who was indian and he was asking all this personal stuff about my laptop.. so my mom was just like, “oh i was oovooing with a friend and this popped up, PLEASE HELP ME!!” like she was clearly goofing around. so she then asked him if he really worked for microsoft and he gave her a trustworthy ‘YES!” (wow i would sooo believe that) and my mom FREAKING BELIEVED HIM! so i got really worried to this point and he made my mom DOWNLOAD FILES THAT MY LAPTOP SAID WERE VIRUSES AND UNKNOWN and i kept telling her to click no and just hang up but she said, “i swear to god if you say one more word..” and im just almost crying at this point no joke.. THEN.. THE MOUSE THING ON THE SCREEN STARTED MOVING ON ITS OWN AND CLICKING STUFF AND DOWNLOADING STUFF AND I FREAKED OUT (well in my head bc if i did in real life my mom would kill me) and then it started scrolling through this hacker-looking thing at fucking speed of light and it typed, “trosan virus found” which its TROJAN not TROSAN!! and then once he asked for her to pay a bill to them she said, “fucker” WHICH I NEVER HEARD MY MOTHER SAY and hung up and i cried. so my mom said, “I SPENT 700 DOLLARS ON THAT AND NOW IT’S GONNA BE BROKEN!” and i said, “mom i was just oovooing with my friend and then it popped up, i wasn’t downloading anything or on any shady websites!” and she was all like “try to ex the page out” so i did and the page said if i exed out it would shut down my computer. and wowee i thought it would shut down my laptop! it didn’t. so we are calling microsoft and getting this fixed and getting REAL security on it. 

moral of the story: do NOT trust a shady pop-up that threatens your new computer, OR a wierd indian hacker guy pretending to work at microsoft.

That moment when @avrillavigne hacks your phone and rocks a legit @myspace duckface and looks like an actual 14 year old because she never ages and I get jealous because I'm vain and crotchety and then I sink into a deep despair and then remember well life's not about how you LOOK it's about how you DRESS and then I realize that's not a phrase (and shouldn't be) and then I eat a bite of a tuna melt to numb the pain and then see that life is ACTUALLY all about Tuna Melts and writing songs which is what actually happened and I made the rest up. I GOT HACKED!

Today hasn't been the best day... I stubbed almost all of my toes lost my only rare and got hacked by Anonymous It was the first time I'd ever got hacked so I didn't know what to do I panicked tried to change my pass but I just got logged out! I told my dad and he found the help page (Thank God!) and I sent a report to MSP telling them what happened and in a matter of minutes I received an email from MSP they gave me a new pass and I was given access to my account (Again Thank God!!) I think I know why I was hacked.... I put the amount of starcoins I had on my bio. I was then hacked But at least I know what to do if I get hacked and if you didn't already you do to stay safe ~ Cookie
