Going along just fine, chipping away at longfic chapter, only to have everything come to a screeching halt when a giant-ass wolf spider decides they don't like the fact that I haven't taken notice of them on the ceiling above me. Motherfucker decides to just dead-drop smack dab on my bare leg (cause wearing shorts cause it's hot). Have I mentioned I'm arachnophobic???? Not me making the most undignified girly scream while trying to swat this eight-legged thing off me while simultaneously trying to run for my life.
I've gotten where I can tolerate spiders so long as they stay outside and away from me (cause I know they eat bugs). In my house and daring to touch me is a OMGFUCKINGNO!
Both sides of the sink were full of dirty dishes and the counter beside and the stove. Because I’m the only person in this house apparently who can load the effing dishwasher. I lift 2 cutting boards out of the sink as the final clear and there’s a damn tarantula waiting on me! ☠️ And before anyone decides I need to be told, I know it’s a wolf spider. So this is creepy AF. Did you know that spiders eyes reflect light? It’s called eye shine. Hubby bought a headlamp and figured it out last night. He wondered what all those sparkling lights were on his walk.
