IHSTF WAS SO FUN!!!

Im so happy I got to experience this with my school :)

Watching these people put in blood, sweat and tears makes me smile so happily. After performing the final show, we were all crying and laughing and having fun. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. THANK YOU IHSTF!!!

I’m taking part in a statewide production right now, and so far it’s incredible. I was skeptical just because I like to stay committed to tech at my school and working but i’m so beyond happy I did it. The (in my opinion) biggest accomplishment were these HUGE moving pieces that I don’t even have pictures of but I was lucky enough to lead the groups that made them and it made me feel so confident when everyone finally came together and we finished them. My little crew of 3 people also managed to make 20+ walls in about 3 hours which was also INSANE. I’m just so proud of us. See you at IHSTF 2020!!!

So my school recently did a musical production of Ride The Cyclone and we're going to IHSTF for it but I have to let the masses know that: the way Noel and Mischa's actors have so much chemistry and it translates to their characters actually makes me so dysphoric but in a funny way. Like I yearn to gay man wanting to be a hooker falling in love with another man who is actively yearning for his fiancée and his home country.

I think it's very beautiful and yaoiful and I have to share these thoughts.

I'M GONNA TALK ABOUT COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED BECAUSE I LOVE IT!!!

-first the third dude (brandon, the one who played all the girl parts and didn't want to do hamlet) was sitting in the audience in the beginning and he was also so cute and I love him and he said I made his day by messaging him!!! -

the second boy (noah, preeminent Shakespeare scholar) was also cute and we're talking on instagram and he's so so so nice and he was such a good actor

-the first boy (benjamin, who uh flirted with girls) was very hot but also unapproachable I did not message him but I still appreciate him

-brandon was so attractive jesus christ he was wearing a tank top and you could see his arms and that was the good shit

-when noah started talking about how Shakespeare can change lives and benjamin was mouthing along to the whole thing in the background until noah was talking about male pattern baldness and then fertility stuff and Benjamin was like "oh shit"

-brandon: "It's about a hunchback?"

-noah: "uhhhh NO, it's about a KING named JOHN"

-noah started moving around on a roll-y chair and it was very good

-the entire Romeo and juliet part

-THE OTHELLO RAP!!! THE SOUND PEOPLE IN THE BOOTH WERE HEADBANGING AND IT WAS JUST SO GOOD

-"I've got the face of a mule but the ass of a man, and I'm hung like a-"

-"ACT 5'

-whenever brandon had to die he would throw streamers at us and I have a lot of streamers now

-benjamin looked so upset once brandon and noah left and I love him

-during the sonnets benjamin was just flirting shamelessly with this girl and he was like "Okay everyone can read theirs- you can take your time, baby- and by the time we're done, brandon and noah will be back!"

-"WOO, HAMLET! H-E-L-M-E-T, WHAT DOES THAT SPELL?"

-the audience: "helmet?"

-"YEAH! I GOTTA GO PUT ON MY HELMET!"

-the entire part where we became ophelia's superego was iconic! I got to be in the "maybe, maybe not" on my first time and then the "CUT THE CRAP, HAMLET, MY BIOLOGICAL CLOCK IS TICKING AND I WANT BABIES NOW" on the second time and that was iconic

-so in the play within a play scene at the first performance no one let brandon (the king) sit next to them so he sat next to me on the stairs and uh holy shit that was the best moment of my life

-brandon, to me: "Methinks the lady doth protest too much! You get it?"

-me: "uhhhhhhhhh yeah?"

-brandon: "she doesn't get it." (Everyone laughs)

-also noah sat right in front of him and stared at him and like god he looked so intense and it was really attractive

-noah's performance of "to be or not to be" was so funny and then they guilted us for laughing

-NOAH HAD A WHOLE RANT ON 13 REASONS WHY

-GOOD GOD I LOVED IT

-REALLY THE SHOW WAS SO GOOD AND I WISH I COULD RELIVE IT BECAUSE LIKE HOLY SHIT
