The Ike Ike experience
INTJ: So today there was an anime convention, and I suggested INFJ to come with me, mostly due to the fact that I’m a huge anime fan and I didn’t want to go alone. So INFJ came with me and assisted me with my merch shopping.
INFJ: Well, I like anime, but I am not such a huge fan as INTJ is, but I thought that it would be a great experience to go.
INTJ: And it was, though the place was packed, and the main room was closed and loud Japanese music blasted from loudspeakers, so I had to go out to the open space to recover from the noise overload. It was more endurable than a party, though. But the anime was worth it.
INFJ: So we had lunch, INTJ bought some anime stuff and spent all the money she had so I ended up borrowing her. Everything was good, until...
INTJ: A random guy appeared and grinned at us while saying “Free Hugs!” And both of us stood frozen, neither of us wanting to do it. But I was faster, and I was not going to do it. I pushed INFJ to the guy, and she had to do the hug thing. I was saved.
INFJ: But I was not!
INTJ: I’m sorry, but at the same time I’m relieved.
INFJ: I can’t explain how awkward was that situation for me. in my head I was conscious about every movement I had to make. Thankfully it was a short hug, and when the guy released me, I was laughing anxiously, and then he looked at me and screamed: “IKE IKE III!” with a weird hand gesture, and I quickly left the scene. Then I looked at INTJ with rage in my eyes.
INTJ: While I was laughing like a madman.
INFJ: I laughed later, but I still cringe at the memory, while INTJ has nothing to worry about. At least we didn't run away, and someone sacrificed and hugged him. His intentions weren't bad, he just wanted someone to hug, after all.
INTJ: I already accepted my eventual karma. But I’m still not regretting my survival instinct, at the expense of my friend. So that’s that. We did some research, and we found the song he was reffering to, I’ll cherish it forever.
