Hello friends! I hope your weekend treated you well and if not, I hope your week is amazing! This past weekend I went home to visit some family and hangout with my sister who is prepping for college. We spent the day at ikea and I got a few things I’ve been eyeing for a while.

I haven’t been to ikea for almost three years, if not more. They don’t deliver near me. It’s something about this store that brings me much joy!I showed great restraint though. It was really difficult!

Once I got back to my place, I washed and put up my purchases and took my puppy for a walk. I am having some mommy guilt because I want to be with him all day but I need to work to afford to care for him properly. On Sunday, I mainly rested and watched a few films. I also used my new tray, mug, and fruit dish.

Mum made me banana bread before I left and I almost cried. It was so good and I miss her cooking and baking. I also got some laundry done and meal planning. This week I am welcoming all positivity, I need it as I get ready for finals projects.

Last night I stayed up a little late to finish assignments, but today I will start sooner versus later.
