It's no secret that Nobunaga loves being physically close to you in any way he can. Besides the obvious desire to be intimate, he just likes holding you, kissing you, or simply holding your hand.

He also loves having you on his lap literally at any point. He just likes holding you there, it doesn't matter if he's taking care of work or simply relaxing and having a drink, it's probably his favorite position to be in.

He spoils you, you're his after all, and if you want something, he'll make sure you get it, even if he may tease you about it occasionally, he'd still do anything for you. He loves giving you gifts, specially wearables so he can actually see you with them (and also show you off. You're his beloved lucky charm after all!).

Spending quality time with you is also one of his greatest pleasures. He loves playing go with you specially, since he likes the game itself quite a lot, but he'd play anything or do anything with you regardless. Of course, he'd always rather do things that interest him personally with you, but he is able to compromise and do some of your favorite activities too.

Masamune looooves complimenting you. He just wants you to know how breathtaking you are at all times, it's something you absolutely can't forget. He makes sure to shower you with encouragement and loving words, he loves seeing the cute smile on your face whenever he does.

He just adores you, and he makes that known. He can be a flirt, and he does sometimes compliment you in flirtier ways, but he always means every single one. He cares so much about you and your confidence, and if he can help you raise it, all the better.

Physical touch is an obvious one for him. He loves being close to you, and when you reciprocate or initiate physical affection yourself? He's over the moon. His favorite thing is when you wrap your arms around him while he's cooking. He may be a charming flirt, but when it comes to the love of his life, he melts completely. He makes sure to hold you extra close when you're in the futon at night!

Masamune is a cook, and his favorite part of being a cook is hearing how much people love the meals he prepares. When it comes to you, it's what he anticipates the most: that soft smile that appears on your face, that shine in your eyes as you take the first bite. He always knows you'll love it, but he always looks forward to hearing it from you.

One of Hideyoshi's goals is making sure you know you're loved and cared for. He always tells you how lovely you look, but most of all, he praises your abilities and skills. He wants you to know you're doing great, no matter what, and that he fully supports and adores you. More than compliments, Hideyoshi gives encouragement and gentle motivation throughout the day.

He loves doing things for you. If you're tired he'll literally do all your chores for you, you don't even need to ask, he just needs to notice. He'll clean, he'll cook, anything. He's very attentive, and even if sometimes things go over his head a little, he's still very perceptive, specially when it comes to his partner. He loves surprising you with everything clean and organized, seeing the relief on your face when you realize he's done all of this for you is priceless to him.

Hideyoshi's gifts are always either sweet, practical, or both. He's the type of partner to listen to everything you say and make mental note of the things you want or need, and he'll get them for you. He likes surprising you with items you've mentioned a while ago, things that even you forgot you mentioned, but that he remembers regardless. He'd give you flowers and romantic gifts often, he's just a big sweetheart.

Mitsuhide's touches are incredibly gentle. He's a tease, but he's also hopelessly in love with you, and he shows that a lot physically. He loves pulling into an embrace randomly, holding you when you're sad in hopes it'll cheer you up, and he specially loves running his fingers through your hair. His kisses are soft, sweet, and loving.

He's the type of man to secretly do things for you and never mention them. He'll clean the house or organize something you'd forgotten to, and then pretend you didn't forget at all. It's not that he's afraid to admit it, he just likes playing with you. Despite his lack of taste, he's an excellent tea brewer, and that's one of the things he does the most for you. Somehow his tea is always perfect, and he really likes seeing your face relax as you drink a warm cup.

He teases you really often. He loves doing it, nothing new there. He'll praise you in that playfully mocking tone of his, only to rile you up and mess with you. But then there are those sickeningly sweet moments where he looks you in the eyes and tells you that you're the best thing that ever happened to him. He's so softhearted when it comes to you and it really shows, whispering how much he loves you as you two drift off to sleep.

Ieyasu is rather reserved. He doesn't like admitting a lot of things regarding his true feelings, and so his love languages are very centered around actions rather than words. He loves taking care of you. He's a doctor, so he's used to taking care of people, and that's no different when it comes to his partner, except with you, he likes doing it all the time. He'll check up on you regularly if you're having an off day, and without words, he'll bring you snacks or water for you to drink. Cleaning isn't exactly his favorite activity (even if he does like his space tidy) but he'll do it for you without complaints if he has to or if he wants to surprise you that day.

Spending time with you is one of his favorite things. He's always wanted a partner who he could be with in the same space in silence, and he finally has that. He loves just coexisting in the same space, either doing the same activity or both of you your own thing, with the occasional conversation coming up, but otherwise in silence. He also likes going on dates. Most of the time he's either not the one initiating those dates, or he does but in a more roundabout way.

Despite how reserved he is, Ieyasu does love physical affection, and he really loves your attention. He doesn't initiate said affection often, but when he does, you can feel all his love pour out of him. He holds you tight, he kisses you desperately, all because he wants you to know that he loves you, even if he often shows it more than he says it. He's afraid his love might not come across as easily due to how non verbal it usually is, so he makes sure you feel it instead.

C for Cuddling (How do they cuddle after sex?)

Kenshin is keeping you close after sex. He never likes to let you out of his sight normally, but that desire is even stronger after sex. His arms will be wrapped around you, pulling you in tight. He doesn't care how hot and sweaty you two are, if you're hungry or thirsty. He specifically has after-sex provisions set aside specifically so you don't leave him. You're not lifting muscle afterwards, he'll get everything for you, all to maximize his cuddle time with you after making love.

H for Hands (What do they do with their hands during sex?)

Kenshin often has his hands locked around your wrists or ankles. He's possessive, though he tries to be gentle about it. But he likes to keep you locked in to the pleasure he's giving you, wants to make sure you can't squirm away from him until he's well and ready to let you go. He may also use a hand to keep your face trained on him, he loves to keep eye contact during sex even if it gets intense. Nothing makes him happier than to know that that look of pure pleasure on your face is only for him to see, that he's the one turning you to jelly beneath him.

M for Moan (What kind of noises do they make? What sounds do they like to hear from their partner?)

Kenshin is relatively quiet during sex. Maybe some noises with effort, a soft grunt here or there. But he's always well-composed and just isn't that vocal, including in the bedroom. Everything in his expression and body movements tells you how he's feeling, though, how good he feels.

When it comes to you making noise, he's very torn about it. Really, he'd love you to be as loud as possible, be open about how good he's making you feel, scream to the heavens when he brings you to orgasm. But the thought of other men hearing your cries of pleasure, something meant only for his ears, also makes him very jealous. The only compromise would be to either clear everyone out of the castle, or take you somewhere remote so you can scream as loud as you'd like.

A/N: Thank you for the request! I think this turned out to be more of a general boyfriend hc. I tried to avoid being as repetitive as possible, so I may not have talked about the s/o being short, specifically, but it’s fluffy nonetheless! I don’t know why I had such trouble thinking of ideas because I am also a short simp hehe. And funnily enough, though Jin was the latest route I read, I had the most difficulty writing for him :(

He’d move the coffee beans to a higher shelf.

“Bless me with a cup of coffee, luv?”

And he would watch you leave his room with that charming, wicked smile of his.

You’d catch on early, but why mess with the new routine you’ve got going on? Especially when it always ends in a kiss and a particularly proud boyfriend?

So you continue asking yourself aloud, “Why on earth does Sebastian insist on putting the coffee beans on this shelf?” or some other variation.

And instead of utilizing the step stool just feet away, you continue standing on your tiptoes, arm outstretched.

You know Arthur is leaning against the doorframe, watching and waiting to come save his little bird.

He’ll watch you struggle some—you never cease being adorable, no matter the situation.

And then his body encompasses yours, one hand on your waist, the other wrapping firmly around the jar high up on one of the shelves.

You work in silence. Arthur usually never interrupts the process. He’s there to keep close, to wrap his arms around your waist and lay his chin atop your head, even though it may strain his neck at times. And when it does, he’ll lay a series of kisses all over your face and hair while breathing in your scent.

Eventually, the coffee is ready—it’s pleasant aroma permeating the air but it becomes long forgotten.

Now it’s just you and Arthur swaying in the kitchen to the tune of an imaginary song.

And soon, you’re turned around, placing kisses on his clothed chest, a content hum runs through you.

You look up with a lazy smile. This is it. Your favorite part. You grasp Arthur’s loosely knotted tie and pull him down to meet your lips.

Theo

To be honest, he had never really considered you short. It just never occurred to him. He’s always had other things on his mind.

And then one day, he goes to rest his elbow on your shoulder but found that it was actually your head.

That changed his perspective, for sure.

“Hondje, were you always this close to the ground?”

“What?”

There go the days of blissful ignorance.

Theo spent the next week distracted, noticing the small quirks about you and your height, which resulted in less than satisfactory work from him in his opinion.

How you seem to place all the things you frequently use on lower shelves, leading to the other residents grumbling about having to bend down.

How you seem to disregard some things altogether, if it wasn’t that important and required the help of someone taller.

How you manage to create scary and unstable step ladders out of stacked books and countertops when you needed to reach something.

How absolutely wide and shiny your eyes gleamed when looking up at him.

How, whenever you wanted to discuss something with him, you always pulled him down to sit on the bed while you stood up to appear taller.

He’d never you all that though. How everything you did was charming and how glad he was to have finally caught on to these particular habits.

Soon enough, a new habit kicks in: Theo standing beside his hondje at an art gallery or auction, his elbow resting gently atop your head, both silent, brows slightly furrowed and in deep concentration over a new painting. It’s what inspires Vincent’s next painting, much to his broer’s surprise.

Ieyasu

He may never escape the teasing, that poor boy.

He’s one of the youngest, he’s a porcupine, he’s Ieyasu. And Ieyasu is dating you.

You just know that Masamune won’t go a week without making some silly joke about their opposing personalities or the fact that Ieyasu, who’s already among the shortest of them all, is with you, an even smaller human.

And it’s Ieyasu, so he’ll reply with something crass and then walk away with red cheeks and ears.

But at the end of the day, when he finally gets his share of peace and quiet and is absent for all the teasing and shit-eating grins, he’s in his futon with you. Legs intertwined, hands clasped together, foreheads pressed firmly against each other.

Sometimes, when he’s absolutely content with laying in silence, he’ll lay his palm to yours and try to guess how many grains of rice he’d have to stack on the tip of your fingers to reach his.

He almost never finishes estimating for all five fingers because you’d get bored and start to nuzzle his neck, and Ieyasu would get incredibly flustered.

“You’ve made me lose count,” he’d pout before giving into a kiss.

Jin

He’s a man’s man, y’know?

He’s tall and he’s got the broad shoulders and the trap muscles; he’s the eldest, he looks after his brothers.

And now he looks after you—his itty bitty Belle.

Well, not really. It’s more like he follows you whereever you go. After having finally come to terms with his feelings for you and becoming an official couple…I mean, he’s almost like Rio.

Not that you ever asked for all the extra help around the bookstore or the palace, but it’s nice to spend all that time with him.

Now that his weekly trysts are over, Jin almost never wants to stray too far from you.

And so he helps organize your highest bookshelves and often lifts you by the waist so that you can double check his work.

When the holidays come around, he’ll help string decorations all over your store.

If the two of you ever cook together, you’re manning the stove while he’s in charge of prepping the food since some pantry items are stored on higher shelves so that recipe books that Jin snuck out of the palace can be nicely displayed at your eye level.

Nobunaga thinks they are too young to be his wine glass and too young to warm his bed. But he enjoys defeating them at go and watching them pout and sulk.

Hideyoshi instantly becomes their father. He dotes on them and spoils them rotten. Father-zoned.

Mitsuhide spooks them away by being sketchy and playing mischievous pranks on them. He enjoys picking on Hideyoshi's adopted son.

Masamune enjoys cooking for them and taking them on wild adventures. But he rejects them from the start as they are too young for him.

Ieyasu is constantly pushing them away. But he actually cares, in a platonic way that is. One time, he saw them trip and fall while strolling down the gardens and Ieyasu ran to check on them and patch their scrapped knee.

Mitsunari is happy to have a sibling. Now Kitty will have someone to play with when he's lost in a book. He's too oblivious to notice their feelings of infatuation.

Ranmaru shares all his peaches with them. He loves spending time with them, probably because he's older than them only by a couple of years. Ranmaru sees them as a younger sibling. He may try to convince Kennyo to adopt them.

Kenshin has no time to waste with a kid. And he has no problem drawing his sword if they annoy him. Sasuke prevents that every time.

Shingen acts like a father figure. He shares his sweets with them and warns them not to cross Kenshin. He lets them play with Koro and teaches them to make wooden furniture.

Sasuke teaches them self-defense techniques and the way of a ninja. He thinks of them as his apprentice, and he's quite excited about teaching them new things.

Yukimura is a little mean to them at first. But once he finds out they have feelings for him, his attitude changes. He can't return their feelings but he's a bit more gentle with them. Might even do undercover missions with them. They'd be Yukimura's assistant.

Kennyo has a soft spot for children so when Ranmaru suggested he should adopt them, Kennyo agreed almost instantly. He teaches them the ways of a monk and warns them not to get too close to Nobunaga.

Motonari thinks he's found a new pet, at first. But over time, they manage to melt the layers of ice covering his heart. Motonari ends up thinking of them as his younger sibling. He gets very protective of them. With time, he's okay with them hugging him or the other way around. He'd be a nice older brother.

Masamune Date: Pet Peeves

Masamune doesn't like when doors are left ajar. If they're more than 50% open? Fine. Anything less than what someone could reasonably squeeze through is ridiculous.

One of his biggest pet peeves is people who add anything to the food they're eating before tasting the food as it was meant to be enjoyed, whether it's his cooking or someone else's. (Mitsuhide says it doesn't matter. He's wrong.)

A pet peeve he gets teased for regularly by those who know about it is when people bite their nails. He knows it's none of his business but the idea of it and especially the sound of it gross him out.

Surprisingly, no misophonia when it comes to people eating. Just nail biting. However, if he were in modern times, gum chewing would be one as well.

Another pet peeve of his is when someone is clearly expressing a desire to talk about something important but won't come right out and say something is bothering him.

Mostly through my 2nd go of Hideyoshi's route so I can get his other ending and I'm so soft, I love him so much. He's almost a boy-next-door type except he's more of a mother-next-door sometimes, the way he fusses over things and MC. But the man has charm out the wazoo, and I am certainly not unaffected.

Hideyoshi is that type of guy (not withstanding other circumstances in his route) that plans how to propose to you as soon as he knows he has feelings, and anxiously awaits to know if those feelings are returned. He eagerly soaks up any and every detail he can get about what you like or enjoy, your favorite music, favorite scenery, all so that he can plan the perfect wedding for you.

When he sees you get angry, whether at him or someone/something else, he can't help but fall even deeper in love, you're so gorgeous when you're full of passion and fire. Of course, if you're angry at him, he'll be equally parts feeling guilty, both for upsetting you and for being distracted by how good you look even while upset. But he can't help it, he just loves you so much.

His motherly tendencies fight against his lover tendencies, because he wants to shower you in treats and love and take you out on café/tea shop dates and everything, but he also knows all that sugar and such isn't really good for you. So he might try to make up for that with cooking things at home for you instead, and if he can't cook, he will be sure to learn, just for you (cue him getting some help from Masamune, at the cost of constant teasing).

He will pull out all the romantic stops he can, serenading you with music, slow dancing with you after a romantic private dinner, writing you poetry, drawing you baths with practically spa-like qualities. Whatever he can do, he will do it, if it makes you happy. He just can't say no to the one he loves. ❤️
