Overview of Chapter 3 Prologue:
None of this is 100% verified, and accuracy can't be guaranteed, but it's 1 am and I need to sleep. Basically:
While at a dinner party that his being thrown with Crown and Vogel, Euren literally appears out of nowhere and randomly starts talking.
MC is like who tf is this? ( ╹ -╹)?
However, everyone at Crown and Vogel knows Euren. He exchanges information with them, sees them at auctions, etc. Nica uses him as a source from time to time. He went to school with Jude and is rich. He immediately rapid fires questions to the MC about dating him, etc. Like, he is over the top lol.
Enters beastie boy Zane who hits Euren on the head, and rebukes him. Boy is just glaring daggers and huffing testosterone. Crown is aware of his existence and him being a member of Libra as well. Zane pulls Euren away and after the dinner, Victor asks to speak with the MC. Darius invites himself as well.
Libra is an independent international organization made up solely of the cursed, typically, those who are outcasts by society. Headquarters are in France, but they have bases around the world. Apparently, they offer charity to cursed ones and help them judge and resolve disputes. They also kill other cursed ones. Now, they are in England but no one knows why.
A little later, the MC has the night off (I believe is what was said), she is out for a stroll and spots William, Jude and Ellis in the shadows. They are on a mission to condemn some nobles at a dinner party, and she decides to tag along.
When they arrive, the dining room is filled with corpses. Men and women seemed to be killed each other while kissing. That's when Mr. Almost Too Big To Fit Into My Screen entered, Lucien. William and Lucien basically questioned each other, the atmosphere (also we have new music) was TENSE. William and Lucien knows each other, Jude and Ellis don't know him at all. It said that the briar boys were eyeing him distrustfully.
Anyway, Jude says since the targets are dead, he was going to leave. That's when Euren suddenly speaks up in a very suspicious tone, telling his senpai to stay and chat. He also starts being too much, and Lucien tells him to go away if all he is gonna do is chat because he is annoying. Zane appears at the same time as well.
Apparently, they were all watching the people kill each other. William questions directly why they are in England and Lucien tells him he is here to do what needs to be done and that's it. Then he takes an interest in the MC, Zane and Euren do as well.
That's when all three Crown boys step in front of the MC to protect her. Euren notes this, and Zane thinks "that woman" should be investigated. Lucien tells them to drop it.
After everyone leaves, Lucien is in what seems to be his London based office, and states that they have grown too strong. Implying he is likely there to kill off the cursed ones of Crown and Vogel.
