What are Yancy's and whoever else you wanna write for's favorite time of year and how do they spend it with their s/o?
I may be a bit rusty on the character descriptions but I hope you enjoy some of the Iplier boys!
Yancy:
His favorite time of the year is summer. He loves the warm weather and going out to see the sights with his s/o.
Being locked up for so long, and only ever spending the summer in the fenced off areas or in his cell, Yancy always wants to go out and do something in the sun.
Whether it be hiking a trail, getting ice cream by the beach or going to a cute little cafe for a coffee date with his s/o; he loves spending the time in the sun.
But his all time favorite moment is having a picnic with his s/o under the shade of a tree. Sprawled out on a blanket with his s/o snuggle up against his side and pointing out cloud shapes. Telling wild stories to go with the weird ones.
Illinois:
He loves winter! And everything to do with the season.
Though a little snow or some colder temperatures never stops him from going on his next grand adventure; winter does give him a small excuse to stay home and cuddle with his s/o.
He's an excellent cook during winter. Always trying new recipes for chillis, stews, soups and other comfort foods he's tasted while in other countries.
His s/o is never without him on the couch. Dragging them onto the couch or into bed to wrap them up in a blanket and hold them tightly to his chest to watch some horrible action shows while sipping hot chocolate.
His favorite moment with his s/o during winter was when he hired a cabin in the woods during a small snow storm. Nothing dangerous, but the romantic "snowed in" trope with a blazing fire and nothing but each others company always sits in his mind when away on an adventure.
The Host:
The Host during spring time is like seeing a bear coming out of hibernation. He's once explained to his s/o that in spring, people's thoughts and actions seem more cheerful. And the world is brighter and more bearable.
He'll occasionally sit out in the warm sun with his s/o beside him, reading a book to him, to help focus his attention off the swirling words and images that come from his strange sightless power. It allows him to enjoy the spring weather without his mind getting overwhelmed with the new colors and sensations from the budding flowers and swarms of insects.
His favorite moment however, is when his s/o took him to a botanical garden. Though at first he was overwhelmed with the images and descriptions running through his head, but his s/o found a quiet spot by a collection of daisies; talking to him and describing in their own words, what they saw. Their words had calmed his racing mind and the colors shifted to show only their face and the images they described. To others, it seemed like a small gesture, but The Host immensely enjoyed the time with his lover surrounded by flowers and plants. With only their voice as a source of what he could see.

Norfok Western Steam 611 at Chicago IL Aug 1983, by Mark LLanuza Via Flickr: “It’s Aug 1983 almost 40 years ago. We’re on top of the Salvation Army building on Grand Ave in Chicago with NW steam 611 leaving C&NW station going under semaphores everywhere heading west to Nelson IL. A C&NW [RTA ] commuter passes it with an F40 and those engines are more then 40 years old.”
