Venting while sober

This guy told me a few years ago that I needed to deal with men differently or I would end up being bitter and jaded. Why didn’t I listen to him? He was talking straight facts. Cause at this point, my guard is so high niggas are gonna need federal clearance to get through.

So listen kiddos, don’t over extend yourself and don’t be afraid to find the nearest exit and leave, or to just pull a disappearing act when shit is going too far left. Staying and working things through should not just be your burden. That’s a team effort. If it feels wrong, it usually is. You don’t won’t to be a bitter, near 30-yr-old black woman. The streets ain’t kind to us. If you don’t believe me just take some time out to ask yourself, “self, on a scale of 1- Mimi Faust, how low is my self-esteem?” If it’s not low enough to stay with someone who publicly cheats on you for 13 years, or low enough to be with someone who makes a sex tape with you then acts like it “accidentally” leaked….then girl you just need to free yourself, use that experience as a lesson, and find someone who ain’t on that bullshit.
