It is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! This day is such an important part of our history and such important day for me! Please take time to think of this day and what it means to not only you but the people you love and surround yourself with. This day is for Martin Luther King Jr. but also represents more then just what this amazing man did for all humans. He reminded the world what it is like to feel, care about others and to stand for their rights. It is easy to repeat history, so if the USA could get it together that would be fucking great. That way the people that lost their lives, their loved ones, their freedom and their dreams/passions would not have fought just to be forgotten. Those people that were part of the movement faught for our rights as humans. PLEASE don’t let that be taken away. The server at Bangkok Cafe asked me if I was just refraining from eating meat just for the night. Then, she asked if how long it’s been since I’ve eaten meat. I told her 5 years (4, but 5 years total) and she said I looked healthy. I feel so good about myself :’) She also said she wishes she could be vegetarian, even for a day. Any meal counts!
