look: I read A LOT. I read more than I write, we all know this and ain’t nothing wrong with it! SO because of this, I need to start giving credit to some of the raddest stories I’ve had the privilege of reading. without further ado...

Magic Tree House: Spiders at Sunrise by @ciaconnaa LOOK it’s part of their AJ series, which you DON’T necessarily have to read in order but why wouldn’t you???, and I DIED having the privilege to help pre-read and edit this one. Peter Parker as a Dad--need I say more? but wait!!!!! Tony Stark as a sweet grandpa. fabulous writing, even better characterization. 

It’s a Little Bit Like Falling Up by GremlinSR Okay, any excuse to read Penny Parker and I am ALL IN. In this what-if scenario, Penny is Spider-Woman but she isn’t JV Avenger when Thanos snaps; so she comes back to a world that’s moved on and her life has drastically changed. And it keeps on changing when she saves Morgan Stark’s life. 

it happened quiet by @jbsforever Soft and beautiful. I have to say more? Well, alright: my inner poet adores this story for its gorgeous prose. AAAAAnd if you’re looking for a story that deals with after-effects of the snap? look no further. 

Never Meet Your Heroes by @camelot-queen a simply beautiful journey. great characterization, which is super true to characters AND their growth and development; feels inducing. just yes...to all of it! fantastic read!

Darling Boy by @ironfamjam I’m telling you right now this author is MY jam!!! If you want gorgeous prose, come check out their stories!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I love about this specific story was the characterization of Death and Death’s involvement with Tony.... exquisite.

Mayday by @coconutknightshade if you haven’t found this incredible story yet then allow me fix that mistake: it’s a new spin on dead Aunt May trope with none other than... Pepper Potts as Peter’s guardian!!! I can’t WAIT to see where this story is headed. sdkfjsdklfj

Breathe in for luck by @frostysunflowers I TOLD you I have a thing for Penny Parker stories!!!! AND THIS ONE IS MY STRAWBERRY JAM, OKAY?!  there’s a special place in my heart for stories that deal with Peter/Penny returning to life post-snap and dealing with the world moving on. 

The beauty that she brings by @groo-ock You want great characterization and even better storytelling? Come no further! It gives me the warm fuzzies just typing this right now; now amplify it when reading. So sweet to see Tony get the life he’s always deserved. 

good kid by @hailing-stars I would be REMISS if I held out on reccing one of my fave series. So what would Peter’s life be like if Aunt May gave up custody of him? Hmmm... well, there’s six stories so far that deal with that question. 15/10, highly recommended ~ so much in fact that if you hear me say “Tony is a good dad” you have to know that phrase solidified from how often I told the author that in my comments as the story progressed.

Sigh No More by @blondsak Came for the masterfully penmanship, stayed for the sea of feels. Eloquent. Evocative. Powerful. I am never disappointed with this author and their stories, though sometimes I have to hype myself up to read if only because I know I'm gonna be a basket case during the process.
