hi everyone 🤍 so, i've been thinking and i really want to start another series. i will, of course, continue The Contracted Heart but i want to write something else and im torn between two ideas, so pick which one you like:

Plot:

Rafe and YN were childhood friends. They used to spend every day together, building treehouses, chasing fireflies, and making promises by the beach. During their teenage years, they fell in love and got into a relationship. They understood each other's dreams and fears, becoming each other's confidants. The townspeople often joked that the two were destined to be together.

The end of their college years arrived, and so did problems. YN wanted to study journalism in New York, while Rafe wanted to (follow his father's steps or go to LA to follow his soccer career). And they breakup.

And now the rest depends on what I pick for Rafe:

Following his father's steps: YN returns to the Outer Banks to care of her aging father. She's worn out from the city and still nursing the wounds Rafe left in her heart. Rafe, who has never stopped loving her, takes the opportunity to try to win her back.

Following his soccer career: They run into each other when YN has to interview his team for her job. YN is guarded, hurt by the way Rafe left her. But Rafe wants her back, and he'll do anything to get her back.

i genuinely don't know which one to pick because i like both of them so pick for me pls 🙏 oh and im thinking of adding a pregnancy/already have a kid tgt trope type shit.
