I like it I’m 25~ 😊 Today was my 25th birthday!! 🎉 My celebrations were “chill” this year, on my actual birthday, b/c we’re gonna celebrate when we’re in Corpus Christi this weekend(for a family vacation). So we didn’t go out to Buffet Palace like we usually do(we’re gonna go for Chinese in Corpus though, don’t worry lol), Gwen made a lasagna and we had Madeline brownies & sugar cookies that Gwen put sprinkles in! @right_in_the_crystal_feels made me a card featuring @redvelvet.smtown and they’re giving me a present on Friday (that I am SO curious about!!) Gwen and I also went to Target today and she bought me this @sally_hansen nail polish that is so nice, I’m not sure if you can tell in the picture, but it makes your nails shiny. Hehe. I also got my birthday @starbucks drink, I tried the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher(it’s good, but I like the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher better), plus I got a free blueberry scone from @panerabread (birthday freebie). I have a few other birthday freebies to claim, but they don’t expire for a few weeks. Hehe. so you know when youre on a date and you like the person but you dont know if you like them in that way?

okay so tonight i went on my first date in a year since my last boyfriend and i broke up,we had been dating for almost two years, he cheated, i cried, i moved back to cali... blah blah blah... the guy i went on a date with tonight i met through a place i volunteer for. i like him as a person, hes honest in the straightforward way hes passionate about his work and hes really "chill" in general. he asked about my holiday plans and he asked about my family, he asked bout my schooland my hobbies.he walked me to my car and he even got me a handcrafted pair of earings because in one of our previous conversations i mentioned i liked earings.all in all, he was a grade A date material kind of guy.

but i couldnt feel it.

he kissed me, i kissed him back.i wanted to feel a conection, but i couldnt. his kissing style was so different than mine and we just didnt... fit right. i want to try again but i dont know if its just me not being used to it anymore of if im just psyching my self out or what. is it too soon to say i dont think we work together well? or should i give it more time?
