I’m working on half that distance / only 10 days away. I think about those 3 things daily as I consider what a big jump in training it will take to reach that pot of gold goal. . I have a lot to say on this (as this caption easily turned into a blog post and I had to edit. Today’s training: getting an OWS (open water swim) for the 1st time in over 6 months...In a 66 degree lake that had huge floating clouds of yellow pollen (see my stories). Followed by a 6 mile run. . After 3 workouts yesterday, my tired and sore body was not feeling all too confident about getting it done. . But digging deep and doing the work resulted in giving me the confidence in both swimming the distance and handling the water temperature on race day and also with running fatigued AF! 😝 . So, I’ll get that blog post finished up but in the mean time, tell me, what keeps you focused on your goals? Have you defined your “why”? . . Happy Friday Eve all!! . .
