21. How does Kurama feel about Naruto’s relationship with Sasuke?

HAHAHA poor Kurama he's definitely been through the best and worst of it all. Besides SNS themselves Kurama witnessed their 'bond' and all that entails firsthand (firstpaw?) from the very beginning. He referenced sns' kiss to make fun of Naruto... told Sasuke he'd regret it if he killed naruto... like Kurama's seen some stuff, he's been alive for a long time and has the wisdom that comes with that. I can't imagine what Kurama was thinking during the kage summit arc when Naruto would forlornly pine over sasuke like PULL URSELF TOGETHER... when Naruto was like 'I'll bear the burden of ur hatred and die with you' Kurama was probs like 'say what now', Kurama defo went through it :)) I always imagine Kurama rolling his eyes when sns would do something sns-y like 'not this again!' All in all, resigned exasperation.

38. How does Iruka feel about Sasuke?

Iruka's a sympathetic guy right, and Sasuke was a 'good' student, and we know Iruka has a father/son-like relationship with Naruto... but I don't think Iruka knows much about Sasuke at all. What Iruka does know, is that Sasuke is very important to Naruto. Iruka might've made his own assumptions about why, given the history he himself has with Naruto, but whether or not he knows the full extent of their bond... idk. that being said, I don't think Iruka dislikes Sasuke. Iruka might've questioned some of his decisions but ultimately if Naruto's behind Sasuke then what's to doubt you know, since Iruka trusts Naruto. Besides, I wonder if Naruto said something to Iruka about what actually happened during the war over like a bowl of ramen or smth... hmm... there's just not enough Iruka and Sasuke interactions for me to definitively say 'ah Iruka likes Sasuke' so I guess overall he's neutral about him leaning towards like cuz of the above.

50. If you could tell Sasuke and Naruto one thing, what would you tell them?

what would be your ideal ending for Neji? (You can change anything after his fight with hinata, go wild)

wow where do i begin... ok to start with, while i hate that naruto won their chuunin exams fight, i'd keep that part the same. and afterwards, neji would be initially convinced by naruto and hiashi to be more content with his "destiny," partly bc he's young and impressionable, but mostly bc he's very very tired of fighting back all the time. key word: initially. the unchanged cruelty of the main house eventually erodes away his newfound faith in them. he decides to secretly learn fuuinjutsu (along with tenten, who's all for defying the main house), so he can find a way to remove the cursed seal. um idk what happens next, i have a few ideas for how he can get from point A (disillusionment) to point B (freedom), but none of them are complete or concise enough to keep this post short

what do you think about jet

Jet isn't one of my favorite characters but I don't hate him (even if I do joke about that because he was about to blow a dam, a thing a like).

In the show he was a character that showed just how much the war affected children. Left an orphan he found his purpose in fighting the war against the people that harmed him. Ultimately with his passion and drive leading him to want to destroy a dam that would have likely caused more harm to the friendly civilian population then the Fire Nation.

But more importantly was his desire to grow out of it with Smellerbee and longshot in Ba Sing Se. Unfortunately for some people leaving that life is harder and it draws them back. Leading Jet to look for Fire Nationals in Ba Sing Se. He was right and justified in his mistrust of Zuko. But it still goes to show how hard it can be for a child soldier to reintegrate into society. Looking for threats and dangers never stop, they never feel safe.

Jets end was very tragic. He was never able to find his peace. To move on or make a life for himself. Those who should have been focused on protecting him instead kidnapped and brainwashed him. And ultimately died fighting people who should have been on his side.

The fact that writers decided to make a joke about his death instead of focusing on the tragedy of it. Of the inability for people like him to reintegrate is maddening. Jet deserved better than that.

HI THANK YOU FOR ASKING im totally normal about neji as you must have definetely noticed :P

under the cut bc this ended up a bit too long, oops

- ok first. sexuality: achillean, arospec and asexual. ambiamorous (hes can enjoy either polyamorous or monogamous relationships, totally not projecting)

- gender: sometimes i write him as nonbinary or just trans man. that fella is definetely transmasc

(or to project even further, gnc girl but i dont want to dive too deep into it... unless someone wants me to, of course)

- he has a dove plushie that his dad gave him and even if its all worn and broken (bc he sleeps with it even tho he wont admit it) he loves and cherishes it

(lee and tenten definetely took a pic of him with his dove plushie and use it as blackmail when he gets too grumpy or they need things, like finding lost keys)

- i see him as autistic w bpd, he gives me those vibes. hes actually very sensitive and silly but keeps a mask of seriousness because thats what hes expected from him, the hyuga prodigy (tm) and the only one who became jonin in the chunin exams 2.0

he hates pumpkin because of the texture and taste. he Does Not Like It

cant elaborate more he just reeks off autism + bpd (projecting again, hahah this is all projecting, so sorry uwu)

- when hes older (BC FUCK WAR ARC) he adopts doves and treats them like his children and probably teaches them tricks

- hes a picky eater going to eat with him is him ordering herring soba everywhere. he knows he has to Branch Out but #comfort food 

- he falls asleep when someone starts playing / caressing his hair. its an instant insomnia cure

- he definetely has nightmares from the war but doesnt tell anyone so he copes on his own

- HE LISTENS TO METAL and lets his hair grow even More after he starts liking the music. he also likes rock

- i like to think hes a fanfic writer but doesnt tell anyone out of shyness. writes self insert x canon or him being a gary sue bc neji deserves to be a bit silly. as a treat

what was your favorite fic to write

hmm that is. a very good question skdjgfdh

the things all come and gone is definitely pretty high on the list - i had a lot of fun with it and it's one of my favorite things i've written!! i knew i wanted to write Something along the lines of this fic shortly after reading through ch78 of the manga but i didn't expect it to get so long skdhgsh still, it was very fun to work on and i was very excited when i realized i could make it fit the mind/body/soul prompt by splitting it up into sections how i did and everything for the fic just sort of fell into place after that. i reread the ending of ttacag so much between finishing it and posting it bc i was (and still am) very proud of it

never been in love (and it's all good) is also one i had a lot of fun writing bc i love exploring the gaang's kids' stories in a universe with canon zukka

and i feel like this ultraviolet morning light Has to go on the list just bc this is the longest fic i've ever finished and even if i um. wasn't in the best state mentally while writing most of it. i still have very fond memories of working on it

sakura - I don't hate her but yikes 😬 her character design is really pretty though and I really liked her fight against sasori. I just think her character is so intrinsically tied to sasuke (and not in a good way) that if we take that away from her there's not much else left you know?

shikamaru - neutral ig cool character design and kudos for being a smarty but the things he says sometimes are like? 😒

chouji - cute.

ino - the fact that she and her family are part of Konoha’s intelligence department and make a living out of uncovering the truth in people’s minds/taking over people’s minds, yet also own this cute pretty flower shop as a side hustle is so funny. her purple outfits are great.

kiba - I had a crush on Kiba when I was young :)) cuz he was an ‘available' guy since I used to ship ss nh st/i nt but woowww now I'm like what did I see in him. I think it’s neat how he fights with Akamaru tho. Kiba probs smells of dog 24/7.

shino - I like him! I dislike bugs but I think his ability is sooo cool like the potential it has. Also cuz of the way he was portrayed in this fic here. I wish we knew more about his clan and the dynamics and stuff it’d be really interesting.

hinata - bland and weird and frumpy.

neji - he deserved so much better :(

lee - SUNSHINE BOY hardworking in the face of adversity and loving and kind and optimistic <3

tenten - she wasn't developed at all yet I adore her! pretty lady with cool weapons!!! and scrolls!!! who practically does rhythmic gymnastics with said scrolls !!! <3 also her fit at nh’s wedding was iconic.

I don't really ship anyone else in naruto tbh, none of the other characters have relationships/dynamics that I'm interested in exploring.
