Valentina comes out and starts growing out her hair but gets frustrated with it because it's just too much and she starts to feel like people can tell that she's a fake. So she gets tempted to cut it because what's the point? But she doesn't because Ms. Furi finds her curled up on the chair of her vanity and helps her with her hair.
She knows how difficult long hair can be, she used to have long hair when she was Valentina's age but she learned to manage until she cut it short. And Valentina takes pride in her hair so the girl shouldn't have to feel like she has to cut it short. So Ms. Furi helps her get it figured out before going through of the steps of managing it at the length it's at and the steps of managing as it grows if she wants it longer.
It makes Valentina feel less like people view her as a fake because Auntie says it's a common issue that plenty of girls her age struggle with. It makes her feel better, a lot better.
