Berdly x Transmasc!Goth!Reader

For a while, he couldn't tell if you wanted to present his gender like you or to date you. You're just... you (affectionate)!

After you two begin dating, he's just very supportive of your fashion choices. He doesn't fully understand why you like the fashion, but he tries his best.

He'll be concerned for you over the summer, since you're wearing black a majority of the time. Even though you probably got it covered, he brings cold water bottles to your summer hangouts/dates.

If you wear makeup, he'll try his best to guess what you have on. It's become a small game between you two; you wear makeup, he tries to guess if you're wearing eyeshadow or if your eyes are naturally like that.

If you bind, he'll remind you to not overexert yourself. He'll also give you an estimated timer, since the limit is usually 8 to 12 hours.

He just loves you a lot, and doesn't want you to accidentally hurt yourself.

i wanted to buy a binder this month but it's the middle of the month and I'm already hella broke fml

How do I know if I’m nonbinary or not? I’m autistic and not good at recognizing my emotions. I’m okay with being a girl, but I also wouldn’t mind being a guy, but the they/them pronouns really appeal to me. I don’t have much dysphoria and when I do it isn’t really strong, but when I find ways to bind safely it makes me really happy. I’m not sure what this means

While it can be used to figure out if you’re trans (both binary and nonbinary), dysphoria isn’t really needed in order to BE trans. I personally don’t get a lot of dysphoria.

I’m hesitant to try to give you a specific label, so I really encourage you to look into any (if you want to, but not everyone chooses a label <3), but the way you’ve described it seems like you might be on the nonbinary spectrum!!

the happiness that you get when (safely) binding is probably gender euphoria. It’s a rush of happiness or ‘right’-ness that comes with, for back of a better word, a validation of your gender. 

I get gender euphoria when my hair is really short, when people get confused about my gender, and a few other things. It can be different for different people!!

you might be agender (having no gender at all), or you might just prefer nonbinary, which simply means not being strictly a guy, or strictly a girl.

Even if I didn’t really do anything, Halloween was pretty great, mainly because I got to cosplay Patton. Doing that made me feel the best I’d felt in a long time. I think part of it was that I was male presenting (or at least less female, the best I could do w/o a binder), but another part was that I just liked being him. It felt so nice to not be me, even if only for a couple hours. I’m not even sure where I’m going with this, I just wish I could be Patton sometimes in reality, idk. Like, act like him, talk like him, etc. It feels good that way. That said, anyone want to be my kiddo?

I was feeling severely understimulated once again, and I didn't want to relapse like I did last night, so I'm kinda making this list for things you can do if you're understimulated! Feel free to add any other suggestions!

Bounce around! I have a tiny trampoline, but you can jump around on sofas, your bed, jump rope, do that thing where you put your legs in a pillow case and hop to a certain distance, all that good stuff! It gets you energized and pumped up! Please remember to do this safely, though! Bind safely, make sure you don't hurt yourself while bouncing!

Funny accents! I find it fun to say random things in very over the top accents. Just say the most ridiculous thing you can think of in the funniest accent that comes to mind! If you're able, maybe make it a game with another person. See who laughs first!

Sniff candles! When I get anxious or understimulated, I love sniffing this vanilla candle. It's very gentle and comforting and makes me feel relaxed, try to find a scent that works for you! I've seen people get essential oils and sniff that whenever they're going through a rough patch.

I have a Minecraft world where I build things and make friends with the animals! It makes me feel accomplished and happy to feed the new friends!
