HOTD: 1x05 - Rhaenyra’s wedding.
Since a few days now, I have seen a lots of parallels between Rhaenyra and Daemon’s relationship and Lucrezia and Cesare Borgia’s relationship, such as:
- "Impossible loves. I am very much afraid they can become an addiction." (Cesare Borgia)
- “Why deny ourselves the pleasure, of which we’re already accused?“ (Lucrezia Borgia)
And remember with whom Lucrezia consumed her wedding’s night? Not her husband, but her brother (with her true love)!
They loved each other but they couldn't stay together. They would have destroyed each other. Look for the difference
Impossible Loves - François Arnaud wanted as a Lord in a Court of Mad Men, to fall in love with a Courtesan (Holliday Grainger) who loves him back, but can not stop what she does, on a Original Historical Fantasy site!

Impossible Loves
When you leave, I want to give you a star. Pluck this star from the night sky and place it in your hands. Or register this star in your name--point, and say, look you own that far distant celestial object. I can't give you the sky, night or day. I can't give you my love because you can't accept my love, and we are better simply gazing at remote points of light. I hope you are happy.
Two remarkably messed-up moments from 1986's Squadron Supreme #9, by Mark Gruenwald, Paul Ryan and Sam de la Rosa.
