Unexpected Union
In a vast ocean, among all the sea creatures, there was a draconian mermaid named Yaku. She was known for her courage, intelligence and kindness, always protecting the weak and helping lost travelers. Everyone had admiration and respect thanks to her special powers. Yaku's appearance was precisely the upper part of a beautiful young human woman while the lower part of an imposing sea dragon. Although she was the only one of her kind, Yaku never let herself be carried away by the prejudice and contempt that some ignorant humans tried to carry out against her.
One day, Yaku was tending the coral gardens when one of her fish friends arrived panting, revealing that he had seen an incubus near the darkest shores of the ocean. Yaku asked all the inhabitants of the sea to temporarily hide so that she could deal with the threat, as she knew that incubi and succubi were dangerous to humans.
With everyone safe, Yaku swam to the darkest parts where the threat was hiding. She stopped and sternly confronted him to leave or face consequences. To avoid conflict, the incubus explained that he didn't want to fight and was just lost.
Still suspicious, Yaku asked him to come into the light, and when he came out, the mermaid was shocked by his appearance. Rather than a demonic spirit, the incubus was physically more human and his eyes conveyed kindness. They approached cautiously, but the caution soon turned to confidence, and she too recognized him. She was her childhood friend, Grathro, who years ago, before turning into a mermaid, believed he was a ordinary human but now they had met again.
With everything resolved, Yaku took Gathro to see the whole sea and the fish were able to leave and the kind incubus explained to everyone that he came in peace and was Yaku's friend, gaining everyone's trust and sympathy.
By leaving his home, Gathro decided to be noble and respectful individual, and was fortunate and grateful to meet and fall in love with Yaku. On the other hand, Yaku accepted Gathro for who he truly was. Uniting their powers and goals, Yaku and Gathro began to work together thanks to their true love, spreading and teaching love and wisdom to that world that needed a new elevation to life.
