Rosemary met her late husband, Derek, in high school. They fell in love in 10th grade, and were inseparable. But everything changed when Rosemary found out she was pregnant in their senior year. They were both shocked and terrified, but determined to do this together and raise their child.
Straight out of high school, they were married, and Derek got a job as a firefighter. Rosemary then became a stay at home Mother to their new daughter, Paige. Derek adored her, playing with her everyday when he got home, even though he was exhausted from work; He always made time for he beautiful wife as well.
As time went on, the money became more stable and they even got a small house together. Paige was in school now, so they decided that it was time to try for baby #2 at last. The only problem was, Rosemary kept having miscarriages. They were both devastated, especially Rosemary. She loved kids and had always dreamt of a large family. Derek had suggested they try to foster a couple kids to help heal her depression.
After going through the process, Rosemary and Derek greeted their first foster children, a set of twins named Indie and Ivory. They both fell in love with the twins instantly, they knew if the moment ever came for them to be adopted, they wouldn't be able to let them go. So they adopted them!
Two new additions to household made things a bit hectic, but also multiplied the love this family shared. Paige didn't even flinch when she became a big sister. She loved them like they were her own blood.
However, tragedy struck this family once again. On one dark night, Derek was called into the station to help out, since they were shorthanded. They were sent to a fire that had engulfed an apartment building Downtown. Derek went inside to see if anyone was still inside the building, but he never made it back out.
Rosemary's live was shattered. Her husband, high school sweetheart and father to her children was gone. Paige, being so close to her father, retreated into herself, trying to remain strong for her Mother and siblings.
As much as time stopped for them, life still had to go on. They are still grieving, but learning to go on with their lives.
