Indigo Tribe Headcannon

On the Indigo Tribes home planet (NOK) there would be a mysterious aura, a permanent haze of indigo would cover the land and sky while the water was a dark shade of blue.

The indigo lantern is hidden inside a cave in the highest point of the planet, the lantern is placed in a stream so all the water on NOK has the essence of compassion. As a part of ‘training’ for the indigo corps, to encourage compassion the ring bearer would have to plant a tree and grow it,the tree literally grows from the compassion water, this shows you have great compassion for all different creatures.

After the tree is grown it becomes a home to that ring bearer, thus Nok is very naturally orientated, the local people often live in primitive huts or tents to avoid harming their environment so there is limited technology outside the lantern rings. The roads are gravel and actual lanterns hang to give light (basically it’s like if Avatar and Neverland had a baby)

Lantern Corp Headcannon

Okay, so I have this headcannon that each Lantern Corp on their ‘main place of operations’ have some sort of living quarters.

Green Lanterns:

Normally since If you are a green lantern you spend a lot of time off world so I think on Oa there are tall skyscraper building with little apartments for each member of the Corp to live/stay in, when they moved to Mogo they stayed in living quarters inside the base.

Star Sapphires:

Star Sapphires normally live in their main building but each have their own huge room with a double bed so the main building is huge much similar to a palace than any sort of house.

Sinestro Corp:

Since Sinestro ruled his Corp in a military fashion they normally have very strict living quarters containing only the necessities and they must remain clean and tidy since it is usually any lantern to any bed.

Orange Agents:

Larfleeze is the only orange agent left, but when his Corp was still alive they all lived in seperate territories sleeping on whatever treasures they managed to take and keeping other members of their Corp away,

Blue Lanterns:

Each blue lantern has simplistic cabins containing nothing but a simple bed and even the building itself is simplistic maybe a couple of poles and a roof and they may include a garden or too just to give nature some hope.

Indigo Tribe:

On NOK each lantern has their own ‘tree house’ that they grow themselves from their own compassion so the planet is filled with tree houses.

Red Lanterns:

The red lanterns, since they are filled with rage and most lack actual logic sleep on the ground and let their rage fuel them Day and night some might not sleep at all and some may only have a bed.

Blue Lantern Headcannon

On Elipis (The Blue Lantern’s planet) it is a paradise, the sky to always clear and blue dotted with pale white clouds, there is streams of clear fresh water and the grass is always green.

The blue lanterns are very faithful, thus live simplistically each lantern often lives in huts scattered around the rich landscape, the huts are made from colourful clays with thatch roofs, with windows that have the best views. Blue lanterns love to give hope to every living creature, so they like to farm (peacefully) endangered species and plants from all areas of the galaxy.

The blue lantern is situated over the large cliff face that overlooks all of Elipis, the cliff face is the source of the crystal clear water that flows all over the planet, huge waterfalls line the rim and thunder down the walls of stone.

Every morning blue lanterns meditate around the various river beds that connect around their homes. They say if you sit by the river long enough, you can feel the hope running through the river.
