A wonderful welcome message on my desk this morning at my new visit school! So far, so good: I was warmly welcomed, didn't stutter when I had to give my speech in Japanese, and had a great first class. There was lots of healthy laughter, and very sweet boys. I think we're gonna have a great time learning every week. Bonus: There's even teachers from my old visit schools here, so it feels like old times! I'm certain that I can will come to truly enjoy my time here. I'll share for new teachers, all of whom enjoy speaking English, to work with. They're definitely going to help me keep encouraging bilingual, bicultural lifestyles in Fukushima. Most of all, I think I'll continue to learn myself, too.
