DON'T EVER CRUSH ON OLDER WOMEN!
also what's up?!
1. This Is Beautiful - Roman&Alaina
This one's actually by two friends of mine. They're pretty awesome and adorable, and I drummed with them at one of their gigs before.
2. Is That All? - U2
I'm…actually not a big U2 fan (please don't hurt me). They're in my iTunes because someone gave me a bunch of stuff and it was in there. I tend to skip their songs when it's on shuffle.
3. Heartbeat - 2PM
Yes, I have kpop. You got a problem with that?? Too bad for you.
4. Paris - Yael Naim
I LOVE Yael. Her music just makes me warm and happy. I actually saw her in concert one time. Super talented, super funny, super sweet. Great song.
5. The Pretender - Foo Fighters
I haven't listened to them in foreverrrr. But hey, good song.
6. You've Got The Love - Florence & The Machine
Usually listen to these guys when I'm in one of my "lay on the floor and stare at the ceiling" moods.
7. Shelter me - Train
I have Train. What more can I say.
8. Try A Little Tenderness - Michael Buble
I have Buble on here for two reasons. 1) His voice makes me think of warm fires on a cold winter's night, and hot chocolate in my tummy, and 2) My mom hates him so I love to blast it just to annoy her :P
9. Mamma Mia - ABBA
I LOVE ABBA. Seriously. Whenever I just need to dance around the house and sing enthusiastically off key for the hell of it, this is what I put on.
10. White Blank Page - Mumford & Sons
These guys pop up ALL the time on shuffle. I don't even have that many of their songs. (Rigged? I think yes.)
11. Amsterdam - Coldplay
I have pretty much everything Coldplay has ever made. Good music for art.
12. Fall Line - Jack Johnson
I love Jack Johnson. He's been on my iTunes since there has been an iTunes to be on.
13. Soul Meets Body - Death Cab For Cutie
Ok, just so you guys know, I'm a big Death Cab fan. I mean, not "die hard, been to all their concerts, own all their merch" big, but I love their music. And this one is one of my favorites.
14. Our Song - Taylor Swift
Yes. It's Taylor Swift. I think it's the only song of hers that I have. I do not know why I have it. I think my canadian sister might have snuck it in when she gave me a bunch of music.
15. You Don't Love Me - The Kooks
I used to listen to The Kooks a lot. Not so much anymore though.
16. It Won't Be Long - The Beatles
Is any music collection complete without The Beatles? (Hint: the answer is no)
17. Shine on You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd
My dad got me started on Pink Floyd a while ago. Good music to contemplate the shittiness of society to.
18. Apologize - OneRepublic
First time I heard this song, I was in a shitty hotel room with a girl I had just met a few hours before, in Tel Aviv. There was loud construction going on, we were jet lagged and couldn't sleep, and I had just made myself a pot of nasty instant coffee. We turned on the dinky, barely color tv to MTV, and that's when it came on. I still remember that night fondly every time I hear it.
19. Headlock - Imogen Heap
I went through an Imogen Heap phase. Still listen to her, but only rarely.
20. Slipping - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
IT'S DR HORRIBLE. HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LOVE IT?? I have a lot of musicals on my iTunes (Wicked, Buffy, West Side Story, etc) but none of them are quite as fun to belt along to as Dr. Horrible.
